Y/N POV:She was aimlessly wandering the town streets, her gaze drifting from one object to another without any real focus or purpose. Her steps are casual and unhurried, as if they have no particular destination in mind.
That was until a blaring sound pierced her ears. "what the-" she cut herself off and she
followed the sound. She notice an overcrowded area, feeling a strong reluctance to enter, where the sheer density of people makes it challenging to move freely and comfortably. She chose the safer option which consisted of her walking backwards and stepping into the shadows, dissolving into its darkness before reappearing in another shadowy area closer to the sound."And I don't mean to sound hostile, but the demon is a coward!
You can take that as gospel
Pulling my viewers? Impossible
I'm visual, he's barely audible
Stop giving him the time of day, don't listen to a word he'd say
I hope he had a nice vacay, but he should've stayed away
While he hid in radio, we've pivoted to video
Now his medium is getting bloody rare
Hell's been better since he split
Where's he been? Who gives a shit?!"She almost instantly recognised the voice."vox!?" she questioned. 'Who is he singing about?' she wandered. "radio?" she thought aloud. Before she could piece it together another voice started singing.
"Salutations!
Good to be back on the air
Yes, I know it's been a while
Since someone with style treated Hell to a broadcast
Sinners, rejoice!"Her body froze as she was in denial. She believed he was gone but now his voice was blaring from the radio. "that fucker is finally back!?" she said with a groan.
She slid back into the shadows, determined to find out more about this highly feared demon.
Alstors POV:
Every sound and shadow seems heightened, as if someone's presence lurks just beyond sight. He was feeling uneasy as he continued his walk to the hotel.
The feeling of someone else's presence vanished as he approached the large, inviting doors of the hazbin hotel. He took a few glances around the premises, certain that the follower was gone, he stepped into the property, where he was met with the radiant presence of Charlie overflowing with joy.
"what's got you so happy my deer?" alastor asks with his signature grin.
"I'm just excited to have our first real guest" her smile almost as big as his."what the hell am I then?" angel asks annoyed. He wasn't very fond that the guy who tried to killed them almost 6 hours ago was living with them from now on. Charlie tried to make him feel included as alastor made his way inside. His smile twitched a little as he notice the new guest.
"your the one who ruined my coat" alastor said cheerfully till he dropped the act. "I definitely remember you now" he said in a way to intimidated the new guest.
Y/N POV
She watched over vox shoulder as they stared at the camera sir pentious poorly placed.
"that dumb bitch" she muttered under her breath. "that's so obvious. You really do pick the dumbest ones for the job"
"hey!" vox raised his voice. "he's the best I could get in such short time"
"as long as he gets the job done I gue-" she got cut off by the sound of angel shouting. "never mind"
She observed as Sir Pentious was caught while spying for the Vees. "oh great" they said in unison. "I knew he would fuck up from the start. Pay up" vox sighed as he handed her 10 pounds.
"vox lost a bet again!?" Val asked as he entered the room. Vox then shushed them both as alastors face appeared on the screen.
"you'll have to try harder than that old pal~" he said before crushing the watch. Vox slammed his fist again the desk. "that fucker!" he shouted.
"calm down darling or you'll buffer again" Val taunted him, which only exacerbated his irritation. Y/n found amusement in the heated exchange between the two.
Once they had settled their feud they called it a night.
Y/n laid wide awake in her bed. She tossed and turned restlessly in her bed, coming to the realization that sleep was evading her. She groaned into her pillow. 'I'm so bored and unable to sleep. Hell why is this so annoying' She sighed and thought of things to do. "what if I joined that stupid hotel thing. I'd do a way better job than that snake!" she muttered.
Throughout the remainder of the night, she strategized her plans till she believe it was fool proof.
Once the vees were awake she sat them down at the meeting table to discuss her plan. She went over her plan step by step with them and carefully watched their facial reactions. They didn't seem to be against it but they didn't find it very smart to send her straight after sir pentious.
"don't you think they'll suspect something?" vox questioned. "definitely" she answered and their faces changed from ones of agreement to confusion. "I'll give it about a month before initiating the plan." she added. They came to an agreement that this might work. "it's not the smartest of plans but it'll do. Better than sir pentious" velvette chimed in. Y/n was slightly hurt by her lack of belief in the plan. "if it means you'll stop crashing at ours rent free then I'm all for it" Val added but y/n ignored his comment and left to check up on her workers.
The next month was just like normal. Vox stalking alastor, velvette bossing her workers around, Val trying to get more people to work for him. Y/n sticked to her normal routine which consisted of her helping sinners who were on the brink of death or in danger. She wouldn't do this for free of course, she took their souls in return. In her eyes it was a win-win they live to see another day and she gains more power and workers.
