That Same Night
Selena's POV

We finally arrived at Evolution.

When I tell you Covergirls had nothing on this club, that's exactly what I meant!

The outside was so nice and clean. The valet went a lot quicker and after we got through security we had a waiter escort us to the section Lexi and I were invited to. Everything was so elegant and amazing. Even the dancers looked professional and they all color coordinated with their uniforms.

"Damn I should've applied to dance here instead. This place look hella expensive!" Lexi yelled over the music.

"It's so damn nice in here. I just know they pay top dollar for all the services." I added as we followed the waiter to the section.

"Lexi, whose section are we going to?"
She hadn't told me anything and refused to until we got here, but she had yet to tell me.

"This fine ass nigga I met at this party my home girl had a few weeks ago. We been kickin' it for a minute now. He invited me here and asked if I could bring a friend. All my other friends boo'd up and I don't really fuck with them bitches at Covergirls, but you." She explained.

"I hope this nigga you're hooking me up with ain't ugly." I said with a straight face making her laugh.

"Girl bye! When do I ever fuck with ugly niggas?"

"Timmy was ugly as fuck sis."
I said referring to her old boyfriend that she was with for a short time.

"Please. I only fucked with him cause he had money. Once he got locked up I dumped his ass." She shrugged and I shook my head at her.

Once we finally got to the section, it was a lot more people than I expected to be in there.
When we approached everyone, Lexi greeted them and introduced them to me.

I was barely paying attention to the rest of the group because I couldn't take my eyes off this one particular guy. He was slouched in the seat, smoking his blunt and was too focused on whatever he was looking at on his phone. His hair was neatly braided and he had on a nice outfit that was paired with his flashy jewelry. Not to mention one of the chains had on read 'EAST' in big gold letters and I couldn't help but to wonder if this was one of the guys Matt had an issue with in the streets.

I lowkey hoped he was for me though.

"Lena this is my man Kass and his friend Gee who I was just telling you about." She took a seat next to the fine ass man I just had my eyes on and kissed him. Great. He was obviously for her.

He looked up at me and nodded his head. His eyes were dark and it felt like he was staring into my soul. The dude looked oddly familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it.

Tee stood up and shook my hand interrupting my gaze at Kass. He reminded me of Lil Uzi Vert which turned me all the way off. He was not attractive.

"It's ah pleasure to meet you mama." His voice was super high pitched and he wasn't that much taller than me.

I shook his hand and faked a smile. He motioned for me to sit next to him, I cringed while doing so. He would often try to put his arm around me, but I would quickly remove it.
