Lastnight was wild. They bickered and argued and talked about everything and then their lips collided.
It was the weirdest thing ever.
Avani ended up going home right after and then she ghosted Nessa again.
Nessa laid on the bed, hoping Avani would just forget about everything that happened but a week passed, and still no contact between them.
It was weird because one day Avani was over, making her best friend laugh until she cried and the next she was just gone.
Nessa stared at her phone before powering it off and going to sleep. But she was rudely awaken to Charli barging into the room.
"Nessa wake up. Your mom is out of jail and she's demanding to see you. But your dad is still put away." Charli said out of breath.
"I don't want to see her." Nessa said, turning on to her side, her back facing the younger girl.
"She has a court order. She'll be here at 4 and you guys are meeting in my dad's office. He has to be there too since he's a lawyer."
Charli walked out of the room, leaving Nessa there.
She was angry that her mom wants to see her.
It boiled her blood so bad. She just wanted to scream.
But she decided not to scream. Instead she took a hot shower to calm her nerves. She raked the soap through her hair, allowing the hot water to wash it away along with some of her anger.
Nessa quickly dressed herself in a white cropped shirt and a pair of grey sweatpants. She slid a pair of socks on and went downstairs just as the clock hit 4.
She sat in the kitchen, eating an orange and then the doorbell rang.
In walked her mom.
Her body ran cold as the woman walked toward the D'Amelio's office.
"Janesa. C'mon." The man said softly.
She let out a sigh and walked into the office, still eating her orange.
"Hi sweetie." Her mom spoke.
"Hi."
"Oh Janesa. You're gaining so much weight. Have you been sticking to the diet? Those clothes aren't cute, they're not in the dresscode I made for you." Her mom rambled on and on and on. Nessa was sick of it.
"Can you stop acting like you're a good mom? Please. You starved me because my face was fat. You made me wear long sleeves and baggy pants all day everyday because you want me to be pure. You put me in a Christian school because I came out as bisexual because god doesn't make unholy or gay people."
"Janesa. Would you like to go home with her? It's your choice." Mr D'Amelio questioned while handing the younger girl a paper.
"No. No don't send me home with her." Nessa said, fixing her hair.
"That's your decision. Go on, go to your room and cool down." The man said, after having the young brunette sign the paper.
Nessa stormed up to her room and locked the door. She was going through a lot of emotions at once and it was spinning her head like crazy.
She popped the case off of her phone and grabbed the silver blade that fell out.
She locked herself in the bathroom and dropped her sweatpants to the floor, sitting on the edge of the tub.
She drug the metal blade across her thigh. She wanted to do it once. But one turned to three and that turned the seven.
Tears dropped onto her thighs, mixing with the blood causing it to flow faster off of her thigh
She then wrapped it up and put her pants on, throwing the blade in the toilet and flushing it.
That routine happened for three months.
Today was the last day. Exactly one week before Charli's birthday.
