It has been a week since Nessa had spoken to Avani.
It was crushing her. They spoke everyday for 3 years straight and now her parents have taken that away from her.
It's getting closer to her 18th birthday, which means she could drop out of this horrendous school and live her own life.
Nessa walked out of school, expecting to see her parents car in the parking lot but she didn't. She decided to wait a few minutes and they still hadn't arrived so she began the walk home.
The walk home from her school would take around an hour so she set on, walking as quickly as possible so it didn't start raining.
When she got home there were cop cars surrounding the house, and her parents were being taken out to the police cars in handcuffs.
"What's happening!"
Nessa worriedly asked while running up to the policeman.
"Your parents are being arrested and charged for fraud and child abuse and neglect." The man said, writing something down on a paper.
"You'd have to come with us as you are under the age of 18 you will be placed in a foster home until then. You may go inside and pack. Your foster family will be here to pick you up tonight at 8."
Nessa only nodded and went inside. She searched for her phone to call Avani. She was extremely heartbroken over this tragedy.

Bubs can you place come over? It's urgent.
I'm so scared

Okay calm down. I'm coming now don't worry. Don't panic yourself.

After the call ended Nessa broke down in tears, she hugged her knees and Avani bursted though the door, looking all around for Nessa, just to find her in her bedroom, sitting against the wall, hugging her knees and bawling her eyes out.
"Ness... What happened? Is everything okay?"
Avani knelt down and pulled the younger girl into a tight hug.
"My parents got arrested for fraud and child abuse. And now i'm getting put in foster care until my birthday, and I don't think i'm gonna see you until then..."
Nessa took a deep breath and began crying again.
"No. Bubs. Don't think like that. I'll pick you up on the weekends and we can hang out, you can stay the night whenever. My parents don't mind."
Avani was always s reassuring toward the younger girl. She was always there for her whenever things got bad. Nessa nodded and hugged Avani tightly, still crying her eyes out.
"I'll help you pack, c'mon." Avani said, rubbing the younger's back.
Avani grabbed a suitcase and began shoving Nessa's clothes inside, folding them up of course. She also shoved a few of Nessa's favorite plushies inside.
And lastly she put a framed photo of the two inside. "Anything else?" Avani questioned.
"I'll pack my shoes in a duffel bag and as for everything else... it could stay behind. I guess my parents own this house so I can come back anytime for whatever I need."
Nessa said, placing the house key on top of the suitcase. Nessa and Avani sat on the couch for the remaining two hours.
Nessa had her head on Avani's lap while Avani played with her hair.
"I'm gonna miss you. It's gonna be hard settling in somewhere that's not home. I don't even know these people and I have to live with them for two months."
"I know it's gonna be hard bubs. You'll get through it, You're strong."
Avani said just as they heard a horn outside and a soft knock on the door. Nessa started crying again, but Avani quickly wiped her tears.
"Don't cry. It's gonna be okay I promise." Avani hugged her tightly and grabbed the bags to carry outside.
"Hi Janesa, my name is Marc and that's my wife Heidi and those are your foster sisters... Charli and Dixie. You'll get along with them very well."
The man said. Avani and Nessa locked eyes, knowing exactly who those girls are.
"Nice to meet you." Nessa politely smiled as the man grabbed the bags from Avani.
He tossed them into the trunk and watched Avani embrace the shorter girl.
  "See you soon." Avani whispered.
"I love you. see you soon." Nessa said, tears still falling down her face.
  "I love you too bubs."
