An only child and motherless, Lauren grew up with a narcissistic and controlling father. Finding comfort in online gaming, she spent most of her free time playing Red Ocean Online, adopting the virtual world as her second life.
Xxx_DarkChaos18_xxX , better known as Darka, was his avatar in the fantasy realm of Argrene, and where her consciousness was suddenly transmigrated. Despite being an introvert, Lauren has a certain sense of humor and a slightly chaotic personality, characteristics that became much more evident as Darka.
Trivia: Even though she plays frequently, Lauren has some difficulty with puzzles and challenges that involve logic, but has ease with those that involve music.
Author's Note: I needed a protagonist that I felt comfortable writing, but I was afraid that she would take on my mannerisms and end up becoming a Mary Sue. It ended up that Lauren developed on her own throughout the story, and luckily in an authentic way! I like the way she uses her sense of humor to try to defuse difficult situations without downplaying what's going on. It may not make much sense since I'm the one who decides what she does or doesn't do, but it's true! XD
