(This tales place after TBT)
As JD drives back to the troll tree, Everyone else seemed to be asleep along with the young queen and her boyfriend. She was laying on him as his arms are, unintentionally, loosely wrapped around her belly. His head rested ontop of hers as they both sleep soundly on the couch.
Bruce wakes up for his turn to drive and gets up before seeing his brother and his girlfriend in such a pose. He smiles and walks over to JD to switch. They do and the oldest brother walks down to see them as well. He smiles and leaves to his room.
In the afternoon, Branch wakes up to Floyd rubbing his shoulder.
"Hey bro.. We're here."
Branch groans, but carfuly gets up, not wanting to wake his queen up. He picks her up bridal style and she instinctively wraps her arms around his neck. The door opens and they all step out to see kids playing on the roots of the tree. They see Branch and the Queen and instantly run over to them, asking what almost sounded like the same question over and over.
Like-
"Branch! What happened to Queen Poppy?", "Where where you two?" and "who are those guys?" .
Branch hushed them, patted some on the head and headed to the inside of the tree, where there are now stairs to get up and down.
His brothers looked at each other as they follow him. They all were thinking the same thang, so one finally spoke up about it.
"So... She's the Queen?"
Clay asks as he walks beside his youngest brother.
"Yea? Wait you guys didn't know?"
Clay shook his head no and so did the others.
"Well she probably didn't want-"
Branch starts but stops himself as he felt Poppy move in his hold.
"We'll talk about it later.."
Once at the top, Viva instantly darts around to look at her old but new home. Branch left his brothers with her as he took Poppy to her pod.
He lays her down, but only seems to wake her up once he did. She looks up to her boyfriend then to their surroundings, only to sigh and sit up.
"You don't have to get up.. It's late. You should sleep.."
"No I need-"
"Poppy, relax. I can take care of things. You need to sleep, this trip has been hard on both of you."
Poppy flinched and put her hands over his mouth.
"ShHhh!"
Branch rolls his eyes.
"You still haven't told anyone?"
"No, of course I haven't! Pregnancy is a really rare occurrence.. And I don't want to freak anyone out."
"Poppy.."
Branch sits next to her.
"You do know that you're going to start showing this month. Even I can tell a difference while holding you."
"But-"
"Poppy. Just tell them before they find out on their own."
Poppy sighs and nods. She lays down and hugs her pillow.
"I'm just scared.."
Branch rubs her back then kisses her head.
"Just get some rest.. I'll be back in a little bit and then we'll talk about it, okay?"
"Okay... Hey Branch?"
"Yea?"
He asks as he stands up.
"I love you.."
Branch smiles and kneels down, kissing her forehead.
"I love you too."
