Branch fiddles with a bag he's been making. It was like a basket but a bit bigger and he made it with a softer fabric that the classic straw like baskets.
His ear twitches and his head turns to the noise of twigs snapping. He saw the signature pink hair and relaxed but rolled his eyes as he continues with his project.
Poppy walks out of the bushes in tears. She stood there noticing how relaxed the gray troll was. She didn't want to disturb him, but he was the one to tell her to come her him if someone ever hurts her when they were younger..
Her feet fiddle with the sticks and leaves as she trys to get his attention.
"B-Branch.."
Branch noticed her shaky voice and looked at her. His breath hitched as his fists twist his hard work. He was pissed.
He got up and dropped the bag, rushing over to her.
She had bruises everywhere it looked like. Her lip even seemed to have a small cut...
"Poppy.."
He held her face and she broke down. She sobs as she hugs him, hiding her face in his chest. He actually held her close, he glared daggers at nothing as he figures out who did this, petting her head running his fingers through her hair.
He then strokes the back of her head as he pulls back.
"Where is he."
"Branch he-"
"Where."
At Creek's pod, he is asleep after the fight he had with Poppy. He did regret hitting her like he did but he knew she would be fine.
Suddenly he felt like he was falling and woke up with a thud. He looked around and noticed his bed was no where to be seen but instead stood Branch in it's place.
"Get up." Branch says as his fists clench
Creek stumbled to his feet and back as Branch punched him.
"Get up" Branch growled again as he stomped towards him, but before Creek could even speak, Branch grabbed him by his throat.
"What happened to that tough guy who hit his girlfriend. Damn I really wanna snap your neck!"
Creek struggled in his grasp looking around frantically. He then spots Poppy watching from outside.
"Poppy! Help, he's crazy!"
Poppy looked at him as he reached out to her. She then looks at Branch before walking away and sitting on the branch his pod was hanging on.
Creek tears up and panics before Branch throws him across the room.
Branch steps out and swings up onto the branch. He kneels down and picks her sleeping figure up and took her to her pod.
He didn't kill Creek but he definitely taught him something.
