Chapter 4 - His Love

Indescribable that's was how he was feeling after looking at her.

Finally His Goddess , His Love , His Queen was here. His breathe of life. His moon in the dark sky . The sole reason for his existence. Was finally standing infront of him and looking in his eyes. The only one who gave him a reason to live . By looking at her now all the wait he did for her felt worth it.

Then and right there he promised himself to always treat her the way she deserves , just like a Goddess. He would move heaven and earth for her.

The moment her eyes met him he knew that he will be whipped for life. She could ask for the world and he would bring it to her.Their staring broke when they heard the trumpets blowing once more.

He held a plate of aarti in his hand and did her aarti. Alina was flabbergasted at this scene. And looked around with her eyes to find everyone looked at them smiling. No one was surprised at this display .
Because the People of Vijaygadh knew his affection for her.

The King was welcoming his Queen.

He didn't apply the tilak on her as he respected her culture and didn't want to make her uncomfortable.

The Vijaygadh people were very broad minded just like their King. Here they were not divided but rather united because of their diversity. Every single religion and culture was respected by the people . The schools were made sure to teach the children about this . That no matter what ever your religion is you have to respect others feelings , their culture and religion too. That's why Vijaygadh stood out among all the cities .

Then a servant placed a plate of alta infront of her .

" Please put your feet in this and walk inside Rani sa" instructed the servant.

She looked at him and he slowly nodded his head as if saying yes.

Then she stepped in the plate which was placed outside the threshold and kept her right leg inside the palace .

Right when she entered the palace people blew conch shell to mark her welcome .

Rajveer held her hand to help her walk inside and when he did that they both felt a spark where their hands were connected making them look at each other. He smiled which made his dimples pop up and that made her smile too.

The King and Queen with hands held entered the palace .

After this everyone settled in guest rooms which were given to them for freshening up. There was a happy atmosphere in the palace but someone was stuck in dilemma after witnessing all this it was none other than Alina.

Alina khan pov:-

Suprised would be a small word to describe what I'm feeling right now . It was opposite of what I imagined his reaction will be after seeing me. I expected ignorance, anger even hate but not this. But it definitely made something flutter in my heart . Like the broken pieces of my heart were rattling to be joined again .

But this time I won't be a fool again. Once I trusted a man with everything in me only for him to crumble it like a paper . This time I will make sure to secure my heart in the confines of the wall created by betrayal .

I have to talk to him . Should tell him about everything that happened in Sharaaj . It's his right to know then he can decide what to do.

When they were giving me the welcome befitting a Queen . My mind and heart were in debate with eachother. My mind telling me this might be just for show and not to trust it after what happened last time. But my heart telling me give it a chance .
No pretense can be as convincing as this so no, this might not be pretense and to talk to him and give this a chance.

So it's decided I have to meet him privately and tell everything. I can't keep this charade going on for long. Coming out with truth might give my heart some peace.

I went out of my room and looked around in the corridor . I didn't know where to find him and where to go in this huge palace. I started walking in some random direction and saw an attendee and called him.

"Excuse me where can I find Rajv- I mean Rana sa?'

I caught myself before I uttered his name. I should not forget that he is the King .

"He is in his study Rani sa"

"Can you please take me there"

"Yes. Please follow me"

I started walking behind him and he left me out of the study room and went from there after bowing to me.

Now that I'm here I can't back down . I have to do this .
'Common Alina you can do it'

I prayed for strength and raised my hand and knocked the door.

"Come in" I heard his masculine voice.

I opened the door and entered his study. It was beautiful. It was a modern room with a tradition touch to it.

I looked at the table which was directly infront of me . There was a huge floor to ceiling window which showed an amazing view of Vijaygadh. I looked at him he was engrossed in his paper works but suddenly he raised his head and his eyes met mine.

He rose from his chair and started walking towards me. I can hear my heartbeat in my ears. As he came closer his cologne filled the air making me almost loose my senses.

He stood directly infront of me just a couple of feet away looking down into my eyes. My breathe hitched when he opened his lips and said something

"Assalamualaikum My Love"

Now what will happen will Alina open up her past or loose her courage.
