As soon as Alina said yes . she was asked when to set the date of the wedding. Rajveer was ready to wed her anytime given but Alina's consent mattered more.
And Alina thought to not delay it more so with the help of elders they set that date a month from then.
"Are you sure about your descision? I mean we can wait more if you want?" said Rajveer. He didn't want her to feel pressurized or regret the descision at last moment.
"No Rajveer I'm sure about this"Alina replied with a smile.
"Please don't take it negatively but are you okay with it just being a month away from now?"
"Why? You don't want to get married this soon?"
"I would marry you right now if you agree . This month is feeling like a year for me already"
Alina laughed at his impatience
"Just think it in this way. As it's an arrange marriage for me and I don't know anything about you that clearly , we can spend our lives knowing eachother. It would be great and everyday would be exciting as we will get to know a new thing about eachother and won't ever get bored"
He laughed "You have a great way of thinking"
They were walking through the garden . And Rajveer decided to ask the question which he wanted to from the time she mentioned that other guy.
"Love if you don't mind can I ask you something?"
"Yes , what is it?"
"Can you tell me about that guy who broke your heart? What happened?"
Alina's chest hurt when she thought about it. But she has to tell him everything. And this was the right time
"Let's sit there shall we?" She directed towards the chairs in the garden . And they both took a seat there
"You know I was so happy because I was accepted in the University of Sharaaj . It was the best day of my life" she smiled when she remembered how excited she was to go there.
"I got selected for the PG seat . It was tough as it was new country and all but I was also excited. After going there every thing was going well . Studies were good and I also made some new friends.My course completed and I was on my internship. Then one day while I was on duty there was chaos in the emergency ward. I got to know that the kings Vassal got hurt during an ambush made on the King . It was the fist time I saw him"
Alina still remember that day like it happened yesterday she was going to emergency ward and the the chaos. When asked to a colleague . she said "The kings vassal got hit in an ambush made at king they are now getting the OT ready . He might need a surgery . You should go and get ready as you are on duty today"
She went and got ready in her scrubs and entered the OT. Her gaze fell on the man who was looking at her with his dark blue eyes half closed. And her breathe hitched. She went near him and said "It's ok. Everything will be alright. You are going to be fine. Trust me. "
His eyes were closing but he kept looking at her all the time till he closed his eyes. It was his eyes that captured her attention
"He took a bullet to his bicep and another to his chest and was bleeding a lot . But the surgery was successful and I was the one who assisted the main doctor" she continued and Rajveer listened to her with attention.
"Then after that he met every single one who was in OT and thanked him. But after that specifically asked for me and thanked me in person and he said he was thankful for the assurance I gave him . Every day he made sure to meet me . And we used to talk about our day at night in calls. He treated me really good brought me flowers and small gifts . But when he tried to give me expensive ones I denied. Slowly I started Falling in Love with him .
"And one day one of my friend warned me that he is just a play boy and he was famously known as casanova. But the way he behaved with me said otherwise and I ignored her warning and thought he was in love with me too. I didn't have a problem with his past"
She then hesitated to say the next words
" It's ok Love you don't have to say anything anymore"
" No I want you to know"
"Everyone from the Royal Palace knew me as I visited him often . They were all very welcoming and good to me. Even the guards. We used to cuddle in his room nothing more. All the expensive gifts he gave me I kept it in his closet in a shelf hidden by clothes as he refused to take them back . He used to tell me about his childhood and his parents , about how they were busy and never had time for him in his childhood due to their busy lives. And since then I started caring for him more so that he doesn't feel neglected"
"Every thing was going well and one day I decided to tell him about my feelings . That day we were near my hospital and I confessed to him about My Love and then his expressions changed suddenly and left from there without hearing me pleading. And asking him if I did something wrong"
Her throat was paining from holding her tears back and Rajveer moved closer to her and held her one hand in his and started rubbing her back with his other hand encouraging her to let it out .
"I tried calling him many times but he ignored and then even called the Palace . They told me he was busy. Then my friend Mariam came near me as she saw me crying and understood what it was about as everyone knew about me and him"
'He is a play boy Alina . He broke hearts of numerous girls. He just uses them for his pleasure and then kicks them out. But looking at you guys we thought it might be different this time but it turned out to be same . Please stop crying and try to forget him' she said and I told her he was not like that . I should have believed her Rajveer but I didn't"
"Next day I went to the Place to talk to him but when I entered his room I saw another woman in his lap , she was sitting very intimately with him and he had his hand on her bare waist . They both looked at me and I was shocked to say anything"
"They got up and came near me and I asked him what was he doing ?"
She still remembered his hurtful words
