"I want to take you out and show you something."

Stepping out of their spaceship, a few steps away there was a line drawn on the ground that surrounded their entire spacecraft.

"What you see on the ground is a line that acts as a barrier, a protection to keep demons away and keep us safe." I wanted to make the clan understand the importance of this barrier. "None of us must go out and none of us can come in with a dark soul."

"If there's a battle to fight we won't back down woman." One of the brothers said, his voice grating and making the usual clicks when they are annoyed or threatened.

"If ever there is a battle it will be me and Vor who will fight it. I want to demonstrate my powers to you, prove the truth and finally get what I deserve." I said loudly looking into his eyes.

"What exactly do you get, WITCH?" said a distant voice with hysterical laughter "I've been waiting to hear from you for a long time and finally here you are reborn." Revon stepped out of his shadow and his hiding place.

In the sewers nothing was clearly visible, but his red eyes were very red, they looked like traffic lights and his skin was white as snow, but his gaze was identical to how I remember it, contemptuous and amused.

"I should have kept you alive like we did with that friend of yours, too bad that because of her games, our mistress ordered to kill every witch or sentinel we see." He took one step at a time and stopped a few steps from the barrier, looked down and shook his head as if he was truly sorry, but it was only because he couldn't keep me alive and have fun with me, you filthy asshole.

I looked at him intensely full of hatred and anger, I knew he meant Argentea, but this time I won't let him win, I won't let my emotions control me.

"If I'm not mistaken, the one who kicked your ass once did it again, sending one of you straight to hell." I said in a challenging tone "I'll do the same with your soul, ah sorry you don't have one. You are a monster who occupies a long dead body and should have stayed there." I felt my eyes burning and my hands too, so let go of the fire in me and two flames appeared in my hands.

"Don't be sure, as soon as I get my hands on you you'll be begging for me to let his new friends live." He looked around and his gaze was looking for someone, but then he stopped on Vor "A real shame that Aartock isn't there and also you killed my favorite yautja. But it doesn't matter here I see many more who can be useful to my mistress." He said amused.

"Come forward witch..." every time he said witch he had to say it with such pleasure and excitement, "So I can give you the end you deserve." From behind him he takes out a sword, I was struck by seeing it.

"Your father's sword has been very useful to me in battles, but I believe it belongs to you if I'm not mistaken?" He said amusedly, showing me the sword even more closely.

I took a step, followed by Vor as well.  As soon as we were outside the barrier we were immediately in an attacking position, but first we had to kill the shadow dogs.

The shadow dogs were immediately around us, but none of them came too close to us, my flames burned them instantly.

Vor knew how to move well, he attacked one and without leaving them any way of escape he impaled it with the blade he had as a glove and then stabbed it again and again, he leaped from one enemy to another and pushed some away and pierced others he did so until not a single one remained alive.

Revon did not move from his hiding place or breathe a word; he had his usual smug grin which however disappeared shortly after defeating his shadow dogs.
