Vani's heart pounded in her chest as she watched in horror as her uncle and aunt were held captive by Rudra's menacing men. She could feel the rush of fear coursing through her veins, causing her hands to tremble uncontrollably.

As she locked eyes with Rudra, her expression twisted into a mixture of hatred and anger. Despite her terror, she summoned every ounce of courage within her and attempted to move towards her beloved relatives, desperate to free them from their captors.

But before she could take another step, Rudra's iron grip closed around her arm, stopping her in her tracks. She felt his fingers dig into her flesh, sending a jolt of pain shooting through her body. With a cruel smirk playing on his lips, he pulled her closer to him, his icy gaze boring into hers.

"Would you like to repeat your words, love," Rudra taunted, his voice dripping with malice. Vani's heart pounded even harder in her chest as she stared defiantly back at him, her mind racing with a thousand thoughts and fears. She knew that she had to tread carefully, for the lives of her loved ones hung precariously in the balance.

Vani's instincts screamed at her to break free from Rudra's grip, to fight against the suffocating fear that threatened to consume her. She wriggled and twisted in his grasp, her heart pounding in her chest as she desperately sought an escape.

Meanwhile, her uncle and aunt, tears streaming down their faces, pleaded with Rudra to release her. Their voices trembled with fear and desperation, their eyes filled with a mixture of terror and sorrow.

But Rudra remained unmoved, his gaze cold and calculating as he tightened his hold on Vani. He could feel the hatred and disgust emanating from her, like a palpable force that threatened to engulf him. Yet, he was a man accustomed to getting what he wanted, no matter the cost.

"Tell me," Rudra hissed, his voice dripping with venom, "would you rather see yourself as my bride dressed in red or be at your uncle and aunt's funeral dressed in white?" The words hung heavily in the air, sending a chill down Vani's spine. Her heart dropped at the cruel ultimatum, realizing the dire consequences of defying Rudra's twisted desires.

"Stop with your bullshit, or am gonna report you to the police" Vani's heart sank as Rudra laughed in response to her threat, his sinister chuckles echoing through the tense air. Her confidence wavered as she realised the depth of Rudra's power and influence.

"The police can't do shit to me," Rudra sneered, his voice dripping with arrogance. "It's me who runs them, I am their sarkar." His words sent a shiver down Vani's spine, the realization of her helpless situation settling in like a heavy weight on her shoulders.

"Kumar"Rudra shouted. Just then, Kumar came rushing to his side, a gun in hand. Vani's eyes widened in terror as she watched the weapon being handed over to Rudra, her breath catching in her throat. The glint of metal in the dim light sent a wave of fear coursing through her, her mind racing with thoughts of impending danger.

Frozen in place, Vani felt a sense of overwhelming dread wash over her, knowing that her fate now lay in the hands of a man who wielded power like a weapon, and who seemed utterly devoid of mercy.

Vani's stomach churned as she listened to Rudra's sadistic words, her disgust and horror mounting with each passing moment. She felt sickened to the core by the sheer cruelty and indifference in his tone, his casual discussion of taking innocent lives sending a wave of revulsion through her.

"Shut the fuck up, you fucking psycho! Leave them!" Vani spat, her voice trembling with rage and desperation. Tears of anger and helplessness welled up in her eyes, her heart breaking at the sight of her beloved uncle and aunt in the clutches of such a heartless monster.

Rudra's gaze hardened at her outburst, his eyes narrowing dangerously as he turned his attention back to her. "Say what I want to hear, my love," he growled, his voice laced with menace. Vani felt a chill run down her spine at the threat implicit in his words, knowing that her defiance could have dire consequences for everyone she held dear.

"Tsk tsk, still so hesitant," Rudra taunted, his voice dripping with malice. "Your uncle was right when he said you are selfish. First, you killed your own parents, poor poor badhe-papa had to see his own little brother and his sister-in-law dying painfully, and now you are after his only daughter, trying to ruin her life. Do you even know she is pregnant? Tsk tsk, what would happen if she is left at the altar?"

Vani's heart sank as Rudra's sadistic words cut through the air, filling the room with a chilling aura of menace. She recoiled at his callous disregard for human life, her stomach churning with disgust and horror.

She felt like the ground had fallen away beneath her feet as Rudra's words sliced through her like a knife. The mention of her parents' tragic fate, coupled with the revelation of her pregnancy, left her feeling exposed and vulnerable. She struggled to maintain her composure, her heart aching with sorrow and guilt.

"Fine," she finally managed to choke out, her voice trembling with emotion. "I will marry you. Now stop all of this nonsense. Release my uncle and aunt and let them go back."

Rudra's smirk widened at her submission, but his eyes gleamed with a sinister light. "Fantastic," he sneered, his fingers caressing the gun at his side. "But how do I believe you?"

Vani's heart sank as she watched the glint of malice in Rudra's eyes, her uncle's desperate pleas echoing in her mind. She knew she was about to make a deal with the devil himself, but for the sake of her family, she had no choice but to play along.

"You have my word," Vani declared, her voice steady despite the tumult of emotions raging within her. "If you can't trust my words, then I don't see any point in us getting married. The foundation of every relationship is built on trust and love. I may not love you, at least not in this lifetime, but I promise you my loyalty." Her eyes held steady, refusing to break contact with Rudra's intense gaze.

Vani's words hung in the air, her declaration of loyalty ringing with a resolute determination that belied the fear and uncertainty raging within her. She refused to waver under Rudra's piercing gaze, her eyes fixed on his with an unwavering intensity.

For Rudra, Vani's defiance was a tantalizing challenge, a thrilling sensation that sent a shiver of excitement coursing through him. He couldn't remember the last time someone had dared to speak to him with such confidence and boldness, and he found himself drawn to her in a way he couldn't quite explain. Despite his twisted desires, he couldn't deny the admiration he felt for her unyielding spirit.

A smirk tugged at the corners of Rudra's lips as he watched Vani, his eyes gleaming with amusement. "Let them go," he commanded, his voice laced with a hint of amusement. "I think you can also go back to continue enjoying your cousin's wedding."

He reached out to tug at her hair, a cruel gesture of possessiveness that made Vani's skin crawl with disgust. She turned her head away from him, her fists clenched in a silent display of her contempt.

To Vani, Rudra embodied everything she despised: egoism, arrogance, male chauvinism, and inhumanity. She couldn't fathom the idea of spending her life with such a man, and yet, for the sake of her family's safety, she was willing to make the ultimate sacrifice.
