Blind Love

Sehun entered the restaurant, his eyes searching for a particular figure. The young man looked rather dashing in a grey button-up paired with faded black slacks and a wayfarer to match the outfit. It looks like the boy took an extra step to look good today.

A hand waves at him which he acknowledges with a nod and makes his way to the table near the corner.

Baekhyun waves at the young man before turning to his brat friend next to him,
"He's here. Please behave,"
She passes him the fakest smile possible and sits straight as if nothing had happened.

Sehun walks over and settles down on the chair opposite the man and the woman.
"I'm sorry, did I make you wait?"

"Oh no, it's fine. We had some errands to run around, that's why we are here early. I'm Baekhyun by the way,"
The older extends his hands which Sehun takes with a smile,
"Sehun,"

Baekhyun glances to his right as Sehun stares at the woman in front of him. He smiles to himself speaking up,
"You have beautiful eyes,"

"But they don't work!"
She deadpans looking ahead at the origin of the voice

"YN!"
Baekhyun frowns but she continues looking straight, hopefully at the man,

"Don't mind him. And yes my eyes don't work. They are just for the show. Mom passed it to me along with the beauty. You can't blame her for my eyes you know,"
She shrugs but Sehun stares at her in interest

"Well if it was me I would definitely blame her!"
Baekhyun widens his eyes at the comment made by the latter and shakes his head with an internal sigh.

This is not going to end well, he thought to himself.

She smiles at the remark by the man in front of her,
"Well, I would have too, if she hadn't passed down the beauty and only these useless eyes,"

"You were born blind?"
Sehun confirms

"Any doubt?"

"No, just wondering then how would you know whether you're beautiful or not,"

"People tell me that,"
She mutters

"Family I suppose,"

"Yeah, kind of"

"Then there is a possibility that they could be lying. You know not wanting to make you sad,"
Sehun smirks and Baekhyun steps in,

"What are you talking about?"
But he was stopped by his best friend who lightly squeezes his hand, a sign that she is fine with it.

"It's true, family lies, especially mine. But I think I could say it from the number of boys who approach me. Now you men would go behind a beauty wouldn't you?"

"Now that's a possibility,"
Sehun agrees with a nod

"It is. Also, here you are. You are known for your handsome looks despite being successful at a young age, so if you're still sitting here talking to me even after knowing I'm blind, it means I'm beautiful, right?
A smug smile paints across her plump lips

"You got me there!"
He lightly taps the table in agreement.

"So what do you do? As in hobbies, interests,"
Sehun asks again, trying to pick up the dead conversation

"This is the first time someone has asked me that,"

"Everything has a first,"
He shrugs

"I don't do much. You know being the handicapped one in the family, all I'm allowed to do is sit still and look pretty,"
