Who is Flora?

Ms. Faragonda was sitting on her chair, looking like she already knew what was going on, and that's because I told her.

" Yes Winx?" She asked, lying to protect my secret I worked so hard to keep.

"Flora is tripping and looks like she's dizzy and light headed. Also her eyes are a different shade of green, Stella says it's not natural. We want to know what is happening.." Musa said, almost demanding but being respected towards the elderly women.

"You see, as Flora is getting older, her powers are...adapting to her new found strength, since she is the fairy of nature, her powers need a bit of a rest, but Flora Probably has been over exerting herself." She lied.

I mouthed a thank you and she just nodded in response. The Winx seemed to buy it, 'Thank the lord.' I said in my head. Me and the Winx walked out, not questioning anything, while my eyes continued to glow the bright green.

In every class I had, I was questioned on why my eyes were the bright green color. I kept on using the lie Ms. Faragonda used by me. I was starting to feel a bit better, but this mad headache never went away. The Winx kept on looking at me, I don't know if they were concerned or just questioning it.

I knew this was going to happen since I was 8, my parents said that when I turned 18, I would get some cool powers. Frankly, I didn't want the powers. My eyes wouldn't stop being the bright green color until my 18th birthday, which was in 4 days.

Another day has gone by, I was with the winx since we were having a slumber party, which I never understood. You see, I've never fit in at any school, this was the first school who actually accepted me for who I really was. I never told anyone about this but I used to be an assassin, I didn't tell Ms. Faragonda this part of my story.

I was here on a mission, a mission to get close to Bloom Kashira and steal her dragon flame, I was literally built to fight as I've been fighting since I was young.

"Hey Flora, you good?" Stella asked, then the other girls looked at me.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine, I was just thinking." I lied.

"Thinking about what?" Bloom interrupted. I wasn't the best at lying and I knew I could easily get caught but now, all eyes are one me.

"I was just thinking about my ...past." I answered, technically, it wasn't a lie.

"Now that I think of it, you've never really said anything about home, we've told you almost everything about us, we barely even know you Flora, would you like to tell us a bit about your home?" Musa said, now intrigued in the conversation.

I never talked about home because I was adopted by my assassin friends. I grew up with them and they trained me 18 hours a day since I was able to walk.

"I'm adopted." I said and I read the shock looks on their faces.

"What happened to your parents?" Stella asked and everyone gave her the look, yet I could tell they wanted to know too.

"Well, I never met my parents, my father died in a car crash trying to get to the hospital, my mother didn't survive my birth." I said with tears in my eyes.

That never happened, my parents were assassinated and I found that out a few years ago. They were assassinated by the people who raised me.

"Oh, I am so sorry Flora, I never knew." Bloom said, I didn't respond, I was letting all the tears out, I was allowing myself to be vulnerable, something I haven't done since I was 7, I knew they were going to find one way or another and I knew someone might be killed.

"Hey, I'm really tired, I'm going to go get some sleep." I said, I left the living room and headed for the bedroom.

Once I got there, I laid back on my bed and allowed myself to get a nice sleep.

I woke up at 4:27 AM when I heard a loud bang coming from the outside, I looked around and saw that Bloom wasn't in her bed.

I got up and looked in each of the rooms. None of them were there. Another loud bang rang and I followed it. The noise led me outside and what I saw scared the living crap out of me.

I saw men wearing black fighting off the winx. The girls were transformed and the men didn't have powers, yet it looked like they were winning.

"BLOOM, WHAT ARE YOU DOIN?!?!" I yelled out to her. It looked like it got the attention of the figures wearing black.

"Flora, go hide, you're weak, I can feel it. You are in no condition to fight!!" Bloom shouted back.

The men spotted me and approached me. I may not have my powers but I was trained to fight without them, not with them.

A man was trying to grab my neck but Stella threw a spell towards the figure in the dark. Instead of hitting the man, it went flying towards me. I fell to the ground as it was a very powerful spell.

"OMG! FLORA!!!" Stella shouted from the distance. I couldn't hear anything. Everything was muffled or silent. My head was pounding very loud and everything felt numb. I let myself fall into darkness.

Normally, I'm not going to write this much in one week, but I'm probably not going to write in a week or so, and because of that, I'm publishing some right now. Thank you for reading, hope your liking it so far.
