"Naruto were are you?" the silver man said through the microphone while hiding behind a bush. "I'm going to catch it" the blonde whispered as he looked at the little monster they were supposed to catch but before he could do anything Sakura threw herself at it and caught the poor cat In an effort to impress Sasuke. Tora instantly started scratching her face trying to escape the girls claws- I mean hands. The rest of the team sighed and they walked to the crying girl and angry cat, Naruto took Tora from Sakura's hands putting the cat close to his chest in an effort of calming him down and it actually worked while kakashi took care of the pinket'ts face and Sasuke leaned on a tree with his eyes closed.
"Don't be reckless again sakura I would expect this from Naruto but not from you" kakashi told the girl with dry tear stains on her cheeks "HEY!!" a offended blonde yelled out as the cat purred at the feeling of Narutos fingers petting his ears totally forgetting the torture waiting for him back with his owner. Sasuke was a little jealous of the cat who got to be that close to Naruto but he would never admit this.
"Shut up usuratonkachi" Naruto was about to yell at the raven about how much of a bastard he was but kakashi interrupted him "let's take tora-chan back to the hokage tower" the team nodded and started heading to where the cat's owner was waiting for them.

They understood why the cat would escape every day I mean who wouldn't if you're owner was literally smothering you to death. That was what madam shijimi was currently doing to poor Tora who was trying to escape the death grip of the chubby lady. "Here's your money hokage-sama" she said before turning her attention back to the dying cat "let's go my baby mwah" both madam shijimi and Tora left the tower leaving team seven with the hokage.
Naruto sat down with both his legs and arms crossed making his teammates look at him weirdly "ugh all the missions you've given us are so lame jiji why can't ya' give us a harder one?" he pouted Sakura wanted to agree with Naruto but she didn't want to make herself seem as an impolite girl infront of Sasuke kakashi picked Naruto up as if he were a rag and looked at him with 'you are a brat' type of look. "Now Naruto show more res-" iruka was cut off by hiruzen who raised his arm infront of him "is that so?" "Yeah" "well then you'll take a client to the land of waves so that he can finish their bridge".
"Thanks old man" he grinned and pinched kakashi's wrist setting himself free from the man's grip. "Tazuna you may come in" hiruzen called towards the door where an old man probably in his late 60's was standing in front of the doorway with a bottle of sake in hand clearly drunk. "These are the brats that will escort me?" he asked clearly amused and unsure that a group of kids and a grown man would be enough to protect him. "WHO ARE YA' CALLING BRATS?!" Naruto yelled out as a vein popped out on his forehead while he held his fist up ready to beat the man up thank kami that kakashi was way stronger then the blonde.
"They all look useless mostly that loud short one" Naruto stopped his tantrum and looked at Sakura thinking that tazuna was talking about her "don't call the big forehead loud" he said not really protecting her it was just that the only people that could fight with Sakura were him and Ino. Sakura ignored him and both her and Sasuke stood next to Naruto who looked up and realized that he was the short loud one and not Sakura.
Now he was really going to give that old bastard a piece of his mind . Hiruzen looked at Naruto who looked about ready to burst and bite everyone's heads off he knew that kid HATED Being called short "I advise you all to go on and pack your things" team 7 nodded and bowed down showing respect except for naruto who just nodded with a grin totally forgetting the disrespect tazuna had showed him. "HAI HOKAGE-SAMA" they left the tower and ran to their perspective homes to go and pack up.
