Introduction

Heartbroken by the death of her parents, Hope Andrea Mikaelson could not STAND the sight of New Orleans and Mystic Falls. Everywhere she looked, she was reminded of her lost. The family she no longer has, the friends who betrayed her or she lost, the people she killed in rage, and the life she no longer will have. Her future of her family being by her side always and forever taken from her before she could even get her driver's license. She told what's left of her family, Freya, Rebekah, and Kol, about her predicament. About how she could barely stomach seeing them without seeing her father in them and they came up with a plan.

Freya and Rebekah knew of some supernaturals in NYC that they could trust their niece with. Rebekah knew of Jocelyn Fray and Luke Garroway, a Shadowhunter and Werewolf she met in her time traveling the world. She helped them defeat demons to save Jocelyn's daughter who was the same age as Hope. Rebekah knew that if she asked them to protect Hope they would after all she did for them.

Freya knew of an old warlock she had met doing her immortality spell Dahlia casted on her. They practiced magic together and Freya taught him many spells. He often referred to her as his master for how much magic Freya helped with. She even set up a link with him so that they could draw on more magic together. She knew that Magnus would continue to teach Hope magic when she was not around. To have an immortal warlock guard Hope her immortal life.

So the two aunts took their sweet Hope to New York City where she was to meet the 3 people who would take her in and save her from her grief. Hope got her fresh start she wanted. No one there knew she was Klaus Mikaelson's daughter nor did they know she was prophesied to end all supernatural creatures. She wasn't some loner who kept to herself because here in New York she didn't have to hide as much. She also got a sister she has always wanted.

Joy took Hope in, since they all agreed her being around a girl her same age would help her transition and they were right. Hope and Clary clicked right away. Both excited to have a sister and their love for art bonded them.

Luke helped Hope with here werewolf side. Took her running around the woods and helped her control her temper and reflexes. Hope was sad it wasn't her actual father that was teaching her but she was thankful for Luke. He also would help with her hand to hand combat.

Magnus helped Hope with her magic. Taught her spells Freya had once taught him and taught her control. Let her have a safe space to let her magic run wild and her magic something magnificent to witness. Bright blue mist swirled around her when she would cast spells and it always left Magnus speechless.

The adults agreed not to tell Hope what Clary was for her protection, just that she was a normal girl who needed protection from the Shadow world. Hope had her suspicions but kept them to herself, not wanting to risk Clary's safety. The adults also agreed not to let Hope know about the demon blood, more specifically which demon's blood, that ran through her veins. They thought it would keep her safe if anyone found out. But they won't be able to keep it from her for long.

She was born with 2 birthmarks.

Her crescent alpha mark on her shoulder and a rune on her inner left wrist. A rune marking that indicates she has a soulmate. It's very rare for werewolves and Shadow Hunters to receive soulmates unless they did amazing things, but even then they received them later in life. Never have they had them marked since birth.

Join Hope as she navigates the Shadow world with her sister, new found family and friends. As she struggles with the concept of unconditional love and people willing to fight for her.

A/N I'm so excited for this story! I think it matches perfect the angst Hope would have after losing her family at such a young age and let her hero complex run wild. I also absolutely have the biggest crush on Alec Lightwood and I think him and Hope would make a great pair with their personalities and history. Yes I know in the book and show, Alec is gay! I have NOTHING against that, I love Alec and Magnus, they're perfect for each other and I'm a big shipper of them. For this Fanfiction, I just want to see him with Hope because they are my two favorite characters.

I'm going to base this off of the show since that's what I have access too but I will try and incorporate the books when I can. This story is going to be very mature with violence, sexual content, mentions of abuse, and other mature content! I will try to highlight when a chapter is going to be having mature content and what it will be to help you out!

I do not own the Shadow Hunter world or Hope Mikaelson, this is just my fantasy. I feel that legacies really down played Hope so I'm going to make her more powerful in this story. I also feel that they didn't really emphasis her werewolf side very much so I am going to do that. I loved werewolf soulmate stories growing up so this is kinda my take of it! I hope you enjoy!
