" Now, what's this about summoning XD? "
Kristin questioned
" Right, um, I need to summon XD due to a promise he made a while ago about my memories, so I was wondering if you could help me? " Karl asked with a hopeful look as glanced up at Kristin
She raised an eyebrow at him before sighing, a solemn look on her face
" Look Karl, I can help you summon XD ,but it's really dangerous to summon him because he's one of the slightly more manipulative gods around, but for a few gods, when they make a promise they are forced to keep it, no matter what happens, and if they do not, then bad things happen, so I believe that this is one of the reasons why XD doesn't interact much with mortals, he likes making promises and finding loopholes within them, so I will help you summon him but please be careful with what you say and do while he is here " the goddess explained, a worried frown that only a mother could muster was shown on her slightly tanned face
Karl's mood seemed to brighten a bit after that, likely the euphoria of the knowing that he might get his memories back
" Of course I will Kristin, thank you so much for helping me " Karl Responded with a grateful smile on his face despite the sad and serious mood.

" -you got all that ? "

"Well the In-between is sorta like this place, not really on the SMP, it's a pocket world of the SMP, I can go there on command for the most part, but the problem is that being there will make you lose your memories and on some occasions might drive people insane " Karl said ,a solemn look on his face, as if referring bad Memories or feeling
"So it's important that only Time Travelers go there" He finished, not looking more determined than ever
" And you are a Time Traveler, correct? " Techno questioned
" . . Yes"
"How did you become a Time Traveler? "
"I think it's genetics, my father was one as far as I can remember, but XD usually chooses when we get to use our powers, however, it goes down a family bloodline " Karl said
" mKay, I think I get now, sorry for interrupting "
" No problem, now, right ummm, where were we, oh Yes! If I go to the In-between I'll be able to get slightly closer to XD's realm and might summon his sorry ass" Karl continued cheerfully
Techno choked while Dream laughed at him because XD is his brother so of course he did, but it was understandable, Karl barely ever cursed, and this time his words gave an 'I will kill any bitch who dares to stop me' vibe (Relatable tho)
He then proceeded to open a weird looking purple and green spiral portal, it gave off a dangerous vibe, similar to the vibe the Wither gives off

A bright light shone through Karl's vision, right now, he was the only one here, but now XD came along
"WHY HAVE YOU SUMMONED ME INCOMPETENT RAT" XD's voice rang through the castle with an insult that Karl would've laughed at had this not been a serious situation
"You had promised me my memories back, or do you not recall? " Karl asked sarcastically whilst tilting his head slightly to the side
"Yes, you are correct, but what is to say that I would keep that promise Time Traveler" XD mocked him
He had dared to mock an emotional Karl whom now had full control of his powers
He fucked up now
Karl's eyes glowed with a dangerous light, they seemed to swirl around much like the portal he had opened only 30 minutes before
Their surroundings changed like the winds of time, because that's exactly what they were travelling through
Karl's own voice now echoed much like XD's
"Gods are forced to keep their promises are they not, if you do not something worse than dying may happen and you full well know that"
Karl used a threatening undertone when talking to XD
How dare this insolent God not give Karl what he had been promised
XD could give Karl all his memories back in the blink of an eye
But this God was simply filled to the brim with petulance
Karl was annoyed beyond words could explain
"You seem to be rather smart and willful to get your memories back, I must warn you however, your past is filled with many unpleasant things, it may cause a variety of different reactions" XD continued, with an amused tone playing at his voice
Karl's eyes went back to normal And thankfully So did his voice
" I don't care about the repercussions" He began desperately
" I just wanna remember my friends an family" he begged
XD sighed " as you wish Karl"
XD's eyes glowed through his mask
A bright light enveloped Karl
And soon, he found himself collapsing to ground tightly clutching his head as he screamed his lungs out.
Then everything stopped
