Fallen (au sans x reader)

Quick author's note!!

Heya. So... I don't know if people read sans fanfics anymore.  In any case, I'd like to describe the reasons behind me writing this fanfic, just in case anyone I know happens to come across this and question me. Basically, I am writing this at 1 AM, after I went and checked a fan fiction I had been faithfully following along with in the past. Only to find out the creator was no longer adding chapters, and they had ended it off with an 'and it was all a dream...' kind of ending. Now, I know it has been four months since the creator updated this fanfic, and despite having waiting many years in the past for updates, the creator did say the probably wouldn't add anymore. I don't know about you, but sometimes I struggle to find well written fanfics, and this one I was reading was very good, so naturally I was a bit like 'aw, that sucks'. And so, I am left with a few options, and one is to just... get over my sans obsession. But that's not possible, somehow, even with all this new stuff I like, such as Hazbin Hotel or HSR, I don't think I'll ever really get out of my UT phase. And sooooo, I decided 'hey, why don't I just write one myself?'. So that's what I'm doing. And so, here I am writing this.

Congrats if you read all that, but I don't blame you if you didn't. Anyway, this is gonna be a y/n x the sans aus fanfic. I am going to be using 'you' as a narrator to refer to y/n, and other characters will use they/them for y/n so that anyone can put themselves in y/n's place! Now, I will try my best to write y/n as gender neutral and not cringe, but I will probably make mistakes here and there, so any advice is welcome! And I'll try to make the plot not cliche, but there are only so many ways I can do this story, you know?

This is probably not going to have smut in it, mostly because I was hoping this could be a pretty wholesome fan fiction. I just never really see happy sorts of things anymore, especially on ao3... (the tags I've seen while looking for Sans stuff are atrocious 😨).

And I almost forgot- uploads might be a little bit irregular, but I'll try to keep it to 1 chapter or more per week. I don't plan on making my chapters too short, but I have lots of stuff to be doing outside of here too... I guess this is a sort of hobby thing? But don't worry, if I'm gonna go anywhere and leave no updates, I'll give you a chapter explaining what's going on!
