"I guess, I'd go back to Daegu."
Her eyes dilated at her friend's statement and a worried expression crossed her face, "But Yn, are you sure? Your studies will be affected and your pursuit to be a psychologist will be concerned too."
"I know, Arin, but I have nothing here. At least I have a roof over my head in Daegu. And about my dreams..." An upset smile crept over her lips, "Not all dreams are supposed to be fulfilled. We always don't get what we want, destiny follows its way anyway."
Arin sighed. A part of her inside agreed but, she was determined enough not to let her go. She acknowledged her friend's dream. Yn always wanted to be a good psychologist. Being surrounded by people who were trying hard to find themselves and defeat their harmed and dominated emotions, she felt bad. Yn was one of them in her past too.
She knew how it felt to ride the rollercoaster of emotions. Although she was all stable now, she wanted to use herself as a medium to provide others with a steady mindset, be a helping hand and teach people how not to panic and understand their minds. And that was why, Yn attempted many university scholarship tests. She was known of her family's condition and wanted to be a helper for her mother.
And after a massive amount of attempts, she found the university she was studying in. Her hard work indeed paid off. She indeed helped her mother a lot by getting a 90 per cent scholarship. The rest 10 per cent was disbursed by her mother and her only. Both ladies were working so that Yn's dream will be fulfilled.
"I still don't allow you to leave. What will you do there?" She asked, worried about her friend's daily life and financial assemblage. Knowing how perfectly Yn knows to hide and pretend the opposite of what she actually feels, Arin was almost expecting the answer.
"Mom had a cafe. The only source of earning. Even though, it's been closed for over a month now, reopening won't be a big deal. So, don't worry about me, Arin," she spoke with a soft tone and opened her arms while her lips held a small smile, "Come on, give me a tight hug before I leave."
A sting of pain knocked on Arin's heart walls. She felt helpless. Helpless for not being enough to help her friend. Yn was hiding the pain behind the smile but perhaps she forgot that it was useless. Arin could read word by word. Yn's expressions, her eyes and her smile were speaking a lot.
Her mind had twisted ties of thoughts, knots of doubts and tormented feelings in her heart. She was determined to help Yn in such a way that it would help her in multiple ways.
Her eyes fixed on Yn's face, finding an answer to her questions.
"Take your luggage and come with me," She heard Arin's invoice, a monotonous tone and a face with cold countenances.
"Don't be angry, sweetheart. I'll visit you oft-"
"I said take your luggage and come with me, Yn."
