Nathalie dives into the water to see nothing but blue; she hallucinates her kingdom that she misses. Her castle, her friends and most of all her subject. She tries to reach it but she can’t. She swam back to the edge of the edge of the pool but bump into the that Gabriel boy. He says”You hold your breath surprisingly long, how did you do it?” he ask.
Nathalie replied”Well erm…. But Emilie cut her off.” Gabriel, stop bothering her.”
Gabriel says angrily *I ‘m just being friendly.”
Emilie sighs”Ugh shut it.”
Nathalie ask” Can we go to the beach?”
Emilie says” Gladly.”
The girls quickly left the pool and walked to the beach while Amelie excused herself to go to the bathroom.
Once they arrived Nathalie stared into the water she,saw a red crab on the rock and 2 fishes that helped her reach the shoor. She walks towards them and greets them.
She says” Hey guys.” The fishes say something.
The woman was confused.” What???”
The crab asks ” You do realize that you are no longer a mermaid and thus you have lost the power of talking to sea creatures.”
Nathalie says “Shit than how am I gonna turn back to mermaid?” She ask.
The crab says” Well you need a pearl in your castle to turn u back but you can’t get them cause you can’t swim underwater so you stuck in this form the rest of your life, well until we find another way to help you.”
Nathalie suggested” Maybe you guys can get the pearl for me under my permission.”
The crab says sadly “ Hate to break it to you sweetie you are no longer a princess and everyone knows you are dead.”
Nathalie yelled” THAT DAUGHTER OF A SEABITCH!!” Everybody in that area was shocked with such language and the yellng.
Nathalie was embarese that she cover her mouth she quickly apologize”Excuse my language.”
Emilie swam towards her '' What happened? She asks about her friend's outburst.
Nathalie replied, " My sister happened. And the crab says” Oh I see you make friends on land now.” Nathalie says” Yes this is,Emilie.” Emilie is still bewildered about this whole situation.”
Emilie says” Ok i have questions 1 You can talk to crab? And 2. What did your sister do to you?”
Nathalie explain” As a mermaid I can talk to every sea creature but now that I'm a human I can only talk to crabs because they can be on land and sea. And what my sister did is just words in all English vocabulary or any language that matter cannot describe how messed up it is. This is why I don't wanna talk about it.” her tone become more melancholy
Emilie was shocked and wondered what kind of shit that her friend’s sister pulled to make her this mad she surmine that it has got something to do with her becoming a human. But right now she doesn't want to ask her about it.
The 2 girls just continue to swim, not sure what to say to each other. Eventually they go to the surface and drink orange juice. Amelie is walking towards them eating an ice cream. She says in her cheerful voice “ I got a free ice cream!!”
Emilie, and Nathalie just nod their heads nonchalantly.
Amelia Asked her sister, “What’s wrong, you usually like ice cream.”
Emilie fills her in on what just happened. Amelie is also curious what Nathalie‘s sister have done other than involve in causing Nathalie to become a human. Amelie tap Nathalie’s shoulder and says in her sweet voice.” Nathalie if you ready to share what happend please tell us we are here to help you in any way we could.”
Emilie says” You’re not alone girl you have 2 human friends to talk to.”
Nathalie nodded and says” Thanks girls you are best human any mermaid could ever ask for.” The 3 girls share a cute group hug. Nathalie says” I will tell you later tonight.” Her friends nodded and enjoyed the rest of the day together by going shopping, having a barbecue and getting ice cream. And Nathalie is starting to get used to walking and doing basic human things.
Later that night around 8pm they come back to their hotel room feeling happy and relaxed. Emilie sighs “ We should have a girl days out more often this is so much fun.”
Nathalie says while brushing her hair.” Yeah i have a blast i might forgot about my insane…..sister.” she looked down to the ground.”
Emilie sighs “Oh yeah her.”
Amelie asked” Do you ready to tell us the story?”
Nathalie says” Crap I should never bring her up. I thought if I have such a great time with you 2 I might forget about it.”
Emilie says” Don’t worry about it dear, certain things a hard to forgive and forget.”
Nathalie sighs “You right am ready.”
