'God's menu'

The next day dawned bright and sunny and a fucking Sunday.

Han was semi-glaring at felix as his eyes were semi-drooped because felix had woken him up early just because he wanted to bond. Bond? As if they already were not the infamous Sunshine twins.

Felix dragged Han and he found themselves in the cramped tiny dorm kitchen, attempting to whip up a batch of brownies.

Felix, ever so optimist, cheerfully gathered the ingredients while Han hovered nervously nearby, his hands twisting the hem of his shirt in anxiety. Cooking was never his strong suit, but he was determined to give it his best shot.

"Alright, Han, you're in charge of mixing the dry ingredients," Felix declared, handing him a bowl filled with flour, sugar, and cocoa powder.

Han nodded hesitantly, eyeing the bowl with hesitation. "Uh, sure, I can do that,"

As Felix set to work melting the butter and chocolate on the stove, Han attempted to mix the dry ingredients, his movements hesitant and awkward.

He didn't know whether to be mesmerized by how well they mixed or disgusted by the lumpy texture.

But disaster struck when Han accidentally knocked over the container of cocoa powder, sending a cloud of brown dust into the air.

"Oops!" he exclaimed, flinching as the powder settled on his clothes and the countertop.

Felix burst into laughter seeing Han's 'deer in headlights' reaction. "Uh, Han, I think you might've overdone it a bit with the cocoa powder,"

Han's cheeks flushed with embarrassment as he surveyed the mess before him. "Sorry, Felix. I guess I got a little carried away," he mumbled sheepishly.

But their efforts were in vain as they forgot to set a timer, and before they knew it, the smell of burning filled the air.

"Oh no, the brownies!" Han cried, rushing to the oven and yanking the door open to reveal a tray of charred, smoking mess.

"We should definitely use this as coal" Han threw the the tray itself away.

Felix's shoulders slumped in defeat as he surveyed the ruined brownies. "Well, I guess we won't be winning any baking competitions anytime soon," he joked, trying to lighten the mood.

Han couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of it all, his anxiety melting away. "We aren't exactly wifey material," he said, nudging Felix playfully.

As Felix and Han chuckled over their burnt brownie debacle and cleaned the kitchen, the door to their dorm swung open, and in walked Minho and Hyunjin.

"Hey," Hyunjin exclaimed, his face lighting up with a bright smile as he hugged felix. "What's going on?"

Felix grinned. "Hey, babe! We were just trying our hand at making brownies, but it didn't exactly go as planned," he said, gesturing toward the charred remains on the countertop, well now at Han throwing them away.

Hyunjin chuckled along with Minho "I can't exactly judge you guys, right?" he said, shooting Felix a teasing grin before turning to Han. "Hey, Han, do you mind if I steal Felix away for a little while? I was thinking i can spoil my baby today."

Han smiled at Hyunjin's request, happy to see his friend so in love. "Of course not, go ahead! But you better treat him right," he teased, winking at him.

Hyunjin rolled his eyes playfully, feigning offense. "Hey, I always treat him right!"

Meanwhile, Minho caught Han's eye, awkwardly standing in the hallway separating the kitchen and the bedrooms, covered in Cocoa powder.

"Were you planning to cook Han too?" Minho chuckled only to be returned with a glare from Han and a snicker from the couple.

Any man besides Minho could hardly look so attractive in simple black jeans, a white tee, and a plain grey jacket.

"Hey, Han, I was wondering if you'd like to hang out with me. There's this new café downtown that I've been wanting to check out, and I thought it might be fun to go together," he said, as he rubbed his hands nervously.

Han smiled at Minho's invitation. "Sure, not why? I'll get ready." Han disappeared.

Hyunjin flashed a knowing smirk to Minho before leaving hand in hand with felix.

But Minho just shook his head, relieved han agreed.

.......

As Minho and Han entered the downtown café, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee created a warm and inviting atmosphere. They found a cozy corner booth and settled in.

"So, Han, what do you think of this place?" Minho asked, his eyes twinkling with curiosity.

Han looked around the café, a smile spreading across his face. "I love it!" he replied, his voice filled with genuine enthusiasm.

Minho nodded in agreement, feeling a sense of comfort.. "Yeah, it's definitely got a nice vibe. I'm excited to try their food," he said, scanning the menu for something that caught his eye.

Han's eyes lit up as he spotted the dessert section of the menu, "Oh, I have to try their cheesecake!" he exclaimed a hint of passion in his voice.

Minho raised an eyebrow, intrigued by Han's enthusiasm for cheesecake. "Really? Why do you love cheesecake so much?"

Han's face lit up as he started rambling. "Well, for starters.............."

"And don't even get me started on the endless flavor possibilities!" he continued.

Minho couldn't help but smile at Han, his head slightly tilted resting on his hand, captivated by the way his eyes lit up when he talked about something he loved.

Will Han ever talk about Minho like that?

"I guess you truly meant it when you said you truly loved cheesecake to han" he remarked, impressed by her knowledge and passion.

"I guess I just have a bit of a sweet tooth," Han admitted, laughing softly.

As they continued to chat and enjoy their meal, Minho couldn't shake the feeling of comfort and connection he felt with Han.

As Han and Minho stepped out of the cozy café outside, a gentle breeze rustled through the trees, sending a shiver down Han's spine. He hugged himself, cursing internally for not wearing more than a soft sweater.

Seeing Han's discomfort, Minho immediately shrugged off his own jacket and wrapped it around Han.

"Can't see you dying over Felix's soup all over again," Minho chuckled.

Han couldn't help but laugh at the deja vu of the situation. "Is this gonna be a tradition now?"

"Until you decide to dress smarter like me, I know you look cute and all in these clothes but autumn is unforgiving sometimes" Minho pinched Han's bridge teasingly whose cheeks warmed up with a rosy glow immediately.

"I will try dressing warmer?" Han somehow managed to speak.

"I don't mind lending you a jacket though," Minho said softly as they started walking, his sentences coming off almost subconsciously.

"Thanks, Minho," Han replied holding onto the jacket, the familiar scent calming him down.

Minho chuckled, a soft smile playing on his lips.

As they walked back to Han's dorm, sharing stories and laughter along the way, Minho couldn't shake the feeling of warmth and comfort that enveloped him in Han's presence.

He always felt his crush might be superficial but after interacting with Han over the weeks had really fell deeper for him.

As they reached the entrance to Han's dorm, he handed Minho back his jacket and Minho just smiled waving goodbye.
