'Time out in the rain'

Dear Minho,

the rain is approaching, the romantic season, so i hope you carry an umbrella.

It had been a week since Minho had been receiving those notes, and he saved each one of them in his notebook.

He really felt bad for his admirer as he knew how loving one-sided was. He had been meeting with Han on weekdays and their conversation was as short as his patience.

He felt like he had been leading on the person but Hyunjin would tell him otherwise and now he was stuck in the middle,

Dear minho,

The rainy season is approaching, i hope you are carrying an umbrella cause people will die if we see you in wet clothes. Sorry, not sorry. Make sure to take care of yourself.

"I fucking hate rain." Minho kept the note in his notebook with a smile and turned to walk in the cafe. The wind had a sweet scent in it indicating the inevitable rain.

He decided to have lunch in the hallway in front of the campus grounds instead of the cafe as he was joined by the group.

"Han?" chan called out.

"Yea hyung?" he said biting into his cheesecake.

"You eat cheesecake every day, aren't you bored?"

"No, because if I love then I love something truly. Cheesecake is pure love" Han said with a hint of mischief in his voice.

Minho just chuckled and continued into his breadless burger.

"Is really no one gonna talk about how Minho eats his burger?" Hyunjin said with a disgusted face.

He was only replied to with 5 no's loudly and Hyunjin just shook his head.

Silence prevailed between the group as they all peacefully ate but it was suddenly broken by the sound of intense rain.

The scent rushed into the building and the whole atmosphere turned dreamy.

Han immediately got up and stood on the edge bringing his hand out to feel the rain.

"He really loves the rain" felix glanced at Han and smiled.

Minho turned his attention towards Han.

"HAN" felix immediately screamed as Han stepped into the rain.

As Han stepped into the rain, Felix got worried. He rushed over to him, dodging students running inside.

"Felix" Hyunjin yelled worried as he followed him to the edge.

Minho and Hyunjin just stared across the yard stressed but not surprised at the dumb duo, at least Hyunjin wasn't.

"Han, stop!" Felix called out.

Han turned, he looked happy standing there, raindrops falling all around him.

Felix reached him, panting. "Are you okay? You get sick so easily, are you fucking stupid?" he said worried.

Han smiled. "I'm fine, Felix. I just love the rain," he said softly.

Minho titled his head a bit, his burger long forgotten as he stared at the pure bundle of joy, han was. the things he would do just to protect han's smile were endless.

Felix just shook his head as he ran away from Han.

Confused, Han looked at him, and then realization suddenly hit him as he ran behind him.

Giggles mixed with the sound of rain as the duo played in the rain as Hyunjin and the rest of the group just shrugged off the childishness of the sunshine twins.

"You two come inside right now" Chan yelled as the lunch break had almost ended.

Han reluctantly left the rain-soaked courtyard and returned inside the warm, cozy building.

Felix followed closely behind, concern etched on his features as he watched Han shiver from the cold.

"Istg god han if you get a cold i would make that soup for you" Felix said and hyunjin almost cringed at the memory of Felix's 'soup'.

"Same goes for you too," Hyunjin said, draping his jacket over her shoulders with a serious voice.

Felix just chuckled awkwardly and Hyunjin intertwined his hands with Felix as he whispered something in Felix's ear and dragged him somewhere as the group shared knowing looks.

"Oh wait I have a spare towel in my locker i'll be back" han rushed out.

The whole group looked at minho.

"What?" Minho said confused.

"Are you that stupid?" Seungmin smacked his head.

"Follow him dumbass" the whole group yelled as a light bulb lit up in Minho's head and he rushed behind Han.

Han walked down the hallway, heads turned to stare at Han's drenched appearance. Some classmates giggled, while others whispered among themselves.

Minho caught up to him, his eyes lingering on Han. "Are you okay?"

Han nodded, flashing him a reassuring smile. "I'm fine, just a little wet," he replied, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

Without hesitation, Minho shrugged off his own jacket and wrapped it around Han. "It's a pretty warm jacket," he said, a gentle smile playing on his lips.

Han accepted the jacket gratefully and indeed it was warm.

"Bye" Han smiled softly.

Minho waved at him gently, his gaze fixed on han leaving the corridor.

He sighed as he looked outside at the rain.

"Maybe, i don't hate the rain"
