Don't Break me, Please

Chapter 3

ARIA POV

After I got home yesterday from my interview, I decided to just relax at home, and get ready for my first day. I set my outfit out and then went to bed.

I set my alarm for 6am since I had to be there at 7:30 and it's about a 20 min drive from my apartment. I get in the shower and wash my hair while I'm in the shower. Then I get dressed, followed by doing my hair and makeup.

I look in the mirror and think this should be good for an office setting right?

I decided on wearing a gray and white plaid skirt with a black turtleneck sweater, some black tights black ankle boots and a gray long trench coat. Now I'm ready to go. I grab my keys and purse and walk out the door, locking it and driving towards A&S Focus Building. About 20 minutes later I pull into the garage and find a parking spot. Then I walk through the lobby to the elevator and make my way to the 37th floor.

I get out of the elevator and head towards the gorge– I mean Mr. Henderson's office.

Goodness I really need to stop thinking about him that way now he's my boss now. Plus I feel like he will be just like him, just waiting to get into my pants and leave me.

I knock on his door but I don't nothing. Maybe he isn't here yet, I check the time. It is still pretty early I guess. So I decide to just wait in his office, I go in and really take a look around. His office is flawless. I thought it was so neat and organized. I decided to get comfy on his couch and wait for him, but maybe I was too comfy because I fell asleep.

About 30 minutes later Mr. Henderson enters his office, surprised to see his new assistant sleeping peacefully on his office couch. He then got a close up of her.

She is beautiful, he thought.

He was mesmerized by her when he saw her in that bakery. These feelings were so weird to him he couldn't explain it. But he couldn't deny that he loved it.

He walked over to the couch and leaned down towards her face and just stared at her deeply admiring her beauty. That moment was destroyed when she started to stir in her sleep and her eyes widened when she realized who was in front of her. She immediately jumped up, making them bump heads and he lifted up grunting in pain.

"Shitt, that hurt''

She felt guilty "I'm sorry a-are you okay?"

"Yes I'm fine I didn't know I wasn't going to get bumped in the head for admiring such beauty" He responded, making me blush at the last part.

"I-I uh I'm so sorry you just scared me and I didn't mean to fall asleep, you can fire me if you w-wan— I just know I am going to get fired and I haven't even started"

"Woah Woah what makes you think that I will fire you?"

He asks, causing me to look at him confused.

"Um, I just thought that, n-never mind" He deeply chuckles which makes almost want to faint. It sounds so majestic and sexy.

I stare at him for a moment until he starts waving his hands in front of me trying to get my attention.

"Aria are you there?" he asks, looking worried.

"Yes I'm fine." I managed to say without stuttering in front of this amazingly attractive man.

He chuckles again and begins to walk behind his desk to his chair. "Anyways Ms. Goodman since this is your first day I will start you off with giving you the basics"

I nod in agreement, signaling him to continue.

"Firstly, I would like for you to call me Aiden. Next I would like a cup of coffee ready everyday by 8am and then as far as your work it will be mainly organizing files, attending meetings and events with me and taking notes. Other work needed to be done will be given by my Secretary Isabella. Does that sound simple enough?" I nod in agreement.
