Several whispers claimed that "Thieves" only moved along for his upcoming "Graffiti Bridge" film, but of course I knew the truth.

Heartbroken lyrics pulled too strongly for this soundtrack and grounded my soul.

"Mad?" I questioned once he picked up.

"No. Never. I just want you home." Prince expressed, lowering his tone even more.

"Minnesota isn't home." I wanted to correct him.

"Yes it is." He insisted. "You can always come back."

"When? I'm busy tomorrow." I couldn't plan too early.

"Where are you going without me?" Prince caught an attitude.

"Motown celebration for Diana Ross." I gently smiled. "Michael invited me."

"Whatever." Prince definitely rolled both eyes in my imagination.

"Don't be fresh. I never called out your antics after women like Kim Basinger showed up in magazines." I debated.
