2. Party Invites☆

                   Addison POV
I was jolted awake as I felt myself falling. Turns out it wasn't just my dream, I actually fell off my bed. I looked over at my clock and it read 4:15. 2 hours till school. I didn't want to go back to sleep because if I did I would have that dream again. I have this recurring dream that I'm trapped in a glass box surrounded by ocean. Every time I move it cracks a little and water seeps in. Every time if fully breaks i always end up waking up or falling to the bottom of the ocean. I either have that dream or no dreams at all. Which is weird.

Since I don't wanna go back to sleep, I get off the floor and walk over to my dresser. I open my top drawer and rummage through it, taking out a flask. I've never told anyone about it, not even Evie and Diana. Not that they need another reason to hate me. I walk back over to my bed and sit down. I grab my phone and unlock it. I open Instagram and go to Andrea's page. She posted a picture of her and her friends at the park at sunset today. I swear I'm not stalking her. I just check her profile a lot, maybe to often. But that doesn't matter! Before I realized it my eyes were getting heavy and I felt myself drifting off.

I woke up again to the sound of my alarm blaring. I groaned as I reached over and turned it off. I hate going to school, luckily it was Friday. I reluctantly got out of bed and walked to my dresser. I grabbed a dark red tank top, black flare jeans, and a grey star sweatshirt. I put my phone and my flask in my bag and swing it on my shoulder. I walk downstairs and see the house is empty. Mom is probably still asleep and Dad is probably at work. I grab a granola bar and walk to the front door, putting on my shoes. I walked out the door and walked down the sidewalk. It seemed I was earlier than I usually am since Evie and Diana aren't here yet.

I sit on the bench at the bus stop. Evie and Diana arrived a few minutes later and sat beside me. "I heard that Jaxon was going to throw a party tomorrow, we should totally go!" Diana exclaimed, obviously excited about it. "If we get invited" I say, mentally praying I don't. "I overheard Jaxon and his friend talking, they were going to invite the whole school! Except the geeks" Diana says, getting more hyped about it. Well fuck, I really don't want to go but I don't wanna let her down. Plus, free alcohol. "Well then maybe I'll go with you" I tell her, shrugging. "Oh my god, Addison Lawerance going to parties!?" Evie says, acting fake shocked. She probably is genuinely surprised though, I never go to any parties. I'm surprised myself. "So shocking!" I say, sarcasticlly. "My mom shouldn't care if I go too" Evie said. Evie's parents have been divorced for a few years. Her mom is really chill and let's us have fun and mess around. Her dad is also cool, he's pretty funny. Evie says it wasn't a bad divorce, they just didn't think it was working out. They're still friends though. "Jaxon should be handing out invitations today!" Diana says, grabbing my shoulder and shaking me. "Quit shaking me!" I say laughing. "My bad, I'm just excited!" Diana says kicking her feet like a child. I forgot to mention that Diana gets really excited over little things. It will be the most boring thing and she would go hyper over it.

The bus pulled up after a few minutes and we went to out regular seats. Evie and Diana started talking about their science class, they had most of their classes together. The bus pulled up to a stop and this time I looked out the window. This was the stop that Andrea got on yesterday. She never rides the bus. She usually gets a ride from her friends, but I haven't really seen her with them that often anymore. Maybe something happened? It's not my business anyway. Andrea got on the bus and walked over to my seat. "Can I sit here again?" She asks, her smile as pretty as always. "Yea, go ahead" I say moving my bag from the spot to the bus floor. She sits down and puts her bag on her lap. "I was gonna ask if you wanna hang out more yesterday but the bell cut me off." She says still smiling, I could tell it was genuine. I knew Evie and Diana heard cause they stopped talking and turned to face us. "Uh- yea, I don't see why not" I reply, definitely blushing. Evie and Diana started whispering and it was obviously about what just happened.
