Loyalty

Situation: Grim

Two weeks have passed since A/N had joined, no had seen Nine or Sonic for the time being, A/N attempted to check on Nine once, but he was gone and so was the shard. Today the Resistance are launching an attack on the Council.

The streets are dark as Eggforcers patrol the streets.

A resistance member is hiding in the alley with a walkie talkie.

Resistance member: Squadron commander blue, this is Squadron commander red, initiate operation: Cheese.

The Eggforcers hear this and fly into the alley.

Eggforcer: Possible rebel suspect. Inspection initiated.

The land on the ground of the dark alley looking for signs of the rebels, a green light flash's on revealing the resistance logo on the wall.

Eggforcer: Resistance Icon identified.

A Eggforcer falls from the sky, destroyed, shots riddled through it.

Eggforcer: It's a trap.

Knux, A/N and multiple resistance soldiers appear behind them with stolen/detached Eggforcer blasters, (A/N has the Resistance logo on their chest and their arm cannon has green paint on it now.)

Knux: Now!

The resistance members open fire on the Eggforcers, taking them out one by one as they make their way through the alley. A/N's arm cannon charges up with energy as they fire precise shots at the enemy forces, their aim steady and determined.

Rusty comes out of a nearby alleyway having heard the commotion, she jumps on to a roof near the commotion, kicking a Resistance solider off before crouching down.

Rusty: Recording initiated.

Resistance member: Eat plasma! You dirty bots. 

Nearby, Sonic comes out of a portal in the sky hurtling to the ground, Rusty looks up still recording.

Rusty: Blue hedgehog detected!

Sonic nearly hits the ground, but the vine wrapped around his foot latches onto a nearby pipe, keeping him from hitting the ground.

Sonic: I'm back in New Yoke city? How did I end up back-

A/N come into the alleyway along with Knux fighting Eggforces in close quarters. 

Knux: FOR A BETTER TOMMOROW!

He smacks a Eggforcer with a blaster before spin dashing into another.

Knux: Who's with me!

Knux and A/N get behind a Eggforcers body using it as cover from the blaster fire, a blast hits the rope attached to Sonic's leg freeing him, the lasers fire at him narrowly missing as Resistance members come in to support.

Sonic: New Yoke City isn't quite how I remembered it. 

He zips over to Knux who is ponding the crap out of a Eggforcer.

Knux: Sonic? Never thought I'd see your smug mug again. Where were you? "He smacks a Eggforcer trying to get away."

A/N's robot ears perk up hearing the name, the heat of their circuits boil.

A/N barrels into Sonic, grabs him by his throat and puts the arm cannon up to his face.

A/N: Traitor. You left us.
