Tension

Chapter 2

Few weeks later*

I've been laying in bed just working on some school work before I have to go to school. I'm so worked up about trying to be friends to be friends with Paige I haven't really been doing my school work. I know that sounds bad but whatever. 

" Are you almost done getting ready, were going to be late!" I yell to my sister from my room. 

" Yes, now come on!" she said opening my door then leaving. 

Jeez she's in a mood this morning. I grab my backpack and turn out all the lights in my room before leaving. 

My sister and I then got to school and we both went to first period. Well here we are about to see Paige. I really don't feel like going to gym. I then walk into the gym and go to my area I sit at on the bleachers. I quickly put some perfume,deodorent, and brush my hair. I then walk to my spot and while walking there i see paige. Paige and that one girl Azzi walking in. This one girl Amelia that im " friends" with has stopped talking to me for some reason and has been walking and talking with Paige and Azzi everywhere they go. Honestly they look annoyed.

Today our teachers told us we were just going to play a game of dodge ball. So my class went to the right side of the gym and the other teachers class went to the left side of the gym. PAige Azzi and Amelia were all in my class. I honestly don't care about dodge ball so i'm just gonna stand by myself and do nothing. Plus i'm really tired and weak for some reason. 

While we were playing dodge ball Paige kept on moving over behind or infront of me. It felt so good to be in her presence. Okay what is going on, i feel really weak. I then start to feel myself fall onto the floor. 

Paiges POV*

" AZZI WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!" I say loudly as i here a thud from behind me. I turn around and see y/n passed out on the floor. I quickly kneel down and try waking her up. Then everyone started to come over to me and her. 

" Guys step back!" Mrs. Walkers said. 

I stayed and I told Mrs. Walkers that i can carry her to the nurse. 

I then picked y/n up and put her arms around my neck and carried her legs. She was very light. I then got to the nurse and had to knock on the door with my foot since i was carrying y/n's legs. 

" Hello?" The nurse said confused letting me in. 

" Please help my, um, friend passed out!" I say putting y/n in a chair. 

" Here lay her back down on the floor and make sure her legs are up." The nurse said helping me lay y/n on the floor. 

A few seconds later y/n then wakes up. 

Y/n's POV*

" Where am I?" The little voice in my head asked. 

I looked to my left and just saw.. PAIGE!!??

" What happened?" I question. 

" Um, you passed out on the gym floor and I took you here, to the nurse." Paige replied calmly. 

" What!?" I say getting up. 

I've never passed out before. I never in a million years would have thought Paige would be the one to take me to the nurse. I mean we dont even know, know each other. 

" Well you too need to get to class, and you need to eat something okay!" The nurse said 

Paige and I then awkwardly walked out. Oh my god. I can't believe this is happening. 

" Aren't you in that one girl I was partnered with in the extra math help class?" Paige asked looking at me without breaking eye contact. 

Omg finally the silence was broken. 

" Yeah, i was." I replied fidgeting with my bracelets as i turned red. 

I can feel her eyes still looking at me. We then got to the gym and went to our own friends. Except i didn't have any friends in there so I just went back to the spot on the bleachers wehere i set my stuff down. It's dismissal by the way. 

" Y/n are you okay!?" Azzi asks me. 

Aww thats so sweet of her. 

" Yeah i'm fine!" I say giving her a smile. 

She then nods while smiling back at me and continues spraying her perfume.
