The bell then rang and now its time for lunch. I'm actually so hungry so I'm glad lunch is finally here. I walked over to my locker and got my lunch box before walking to the cafeteria. I walked into the cafeteria to get a cookie then walked out trying to find Alex. She was know where to be found. The only person I could think of that might know where she is, is Paige. But that's so weird just walking up to her like that. Whatever. As Paige was walking into the cafeteria with this random girl I politely stopped her.
" Uhm...Paige?"I said tapping Paige's shoulder.
Paige turned around giving me a look.
"Oh, nevermind."I mumbled before walking away.
" Wait! Sorry I didn't know it was you."Paige stopped me.
I turned back around looking at her.
"So, what do you need?"Paige asked.
"Oh right, I just was wondering if you've seen Alex anywhere."I shared.
" I think she left early. If you want I can sit with you so you're not alone?"Paige replied.
I felt my cheeks heating up. Why would she want to sit with me, I'm nothing like the people she usually hangs out with.
"No, you don't have to do that." I insisted.
"Trust me I don't mind. Now wait here and I'll meet up with you once I'm done getting my food."Paige claimed before walking into the cafeteria.
Well I guess I'm having lunch with the girl I stalk almost everyday. Well not like that. I just look at her TikTok,Insta, and her reposts. Okay I need to stop.
" Okay I told my friends that i'm sitting with you and they don't care so lets go find a table."Paige stated walking beside me.
"Are you sure?"I questioned.
"Y/n trust me I don't mind sitting with you."Paige answered while giving me a comforting smile.
"Okay,uhm we can sit here."I said sitting down at an empty circle table where the sun was shining.
Paige sat next to me.
I brought ramen today for lunch but I really wasn't in the mood for ramen. I'm starving though. I was just moving the ramen around with me fork when I felt Paig's eyes on me all of a sudden.
" You alright?" Paige asked tilting her head to look at me.
I quickly looked at her, " Oh! Yeah I'm fine I'm just not really in the mood for ramen." I said looking back at my food.
"Well lets see what else you have in here."Paige said grabbing my lunchbox.
I then laughed and watched her take out all the stuff I brought.
"You have so much other stuff! Here eat these." Paige said handing me some chips I brought.
I love how caring she is about me eating.
"So how are you liking gym?" Paige asked as I was chewing.
I then pointed to my mouth showing her I'm still chewing and can't speak.
" Oh sorry!"Paige laughed.
I then smiled still chewing.
" Anyways, uhm I hate gym." I said before grabbing another chip.
" Really why?" Paige questioned.
" I just don't like sweating early in the morning, and people getting mad at me for not doing anything, but I have a reason why i'm not playing."I replied.
"What your reason?"Paige wondered.
"Well first of all it's 8am, second of all I'm really weak in the morning cause I don't have breakfast."I answered.
Paige gave me a concerned look.
" Why don't you eat breakfast!? Isn't that the most important meal of the day?"Paige asked.
"Yeah it is, I just don't have enough time."I replied.
"Interesting."Paige said before drinking her water.
"Sorry this is so random, and you don't have to tell me but, where do you plan on going to college?"I asked.
"Oh I don't mind, I applied for Uconn."She answered while looking at me.
"Really?! So did I!"I exclaimed.
Oh my god, why did I say that with such excitement. Now she thinks I like her. Why am I actually so stupid.
"For real?! Well once you get your letter text me and we can open them together."Paige replied.
"But I don't have your number."
"Then let me fix that."Paige said while putting her hand out asking me for my phone.
I blushed while handing her my phone.
"There you go."Paige
I looked down at my phone and saw what contact name she gave herself. I then looked up at her and smiled before saying.
"Cutie?!"
Paige smirked at me. God why is she so attractive.
The bell than rang.
"Well time to go to 5th period."Paige said while walking beside me.
"Ughh. I really don't feel like going to that useless class."I said with attitude.
"Your attitude is crazy."Paige smiled.
"Sorry."I replied with my head down.
I felt Paige smiled at me. We then started walking to 5th period together.
We were both laughing then suddenly this random guy came over next to Paige.
"Paigeee!"He said dabbing Paige up as Paige did the same.
"Who's this pretty girl?"The guy said pointing at me.
"This is y/n and don't call her that."Paige said wrapping her arm around my neck.
Uhm this is very girlfriend material behavior if you ask me. No but seriously why is she acting like this. We aren't even "Freinds". I mean I don't think we are.
"We'll see you after class Paige!" The guy said before walking off.
Paige then stopped putting her arm around my neck.
"I don't like that guy."I said looking at Paige.
"Me neither."Paige replied turning her head to look at me.
"Really? You seem okay with him?"I said confused.
"Yeah well I'm really good at acting like I'm friends with someone I don't like."Paige said opening the door for me.
"I can tell."
Paige smiled.
