I tossed my keys onto the counter then sighed, running my hand through my hair.

"Hey, Seungcheol." I turned and saw Mingyu then he sighed.

"I... I think something happened with Chan! He's locked himself in his room and won't talk to me at all. Maybe you can get him to talk?" He asked and I frowned, going down the hall to Chan's room.

"Channie?!" I knocked on the door and waited, listening for an answer, but the light was off. It was kind of late, so I wasn't sure if he was asleep or not.

"Chan, hey, it's Seungcheol!" I called and tried to open the door. When it gave, I pushed it open and poked my head in. But Chan was laying in bed, his back to me and his blankets up to his chin. I sighed and stepped out, shutting the door and looking at Mingyu.

"He's asleep." I softly said and he frowned.

"Seungcheol, he-he wasn't home when I got home! When he did get home, he ran to his room and didn't even come out for dinner! Something is wrong!" He urged and I nodded.

"I'll talk to him in the morning then, before we all head to class." I said and he nodded, going to his room. I sighed and looked at Chan's door then went to my room, since I needed a shower after practice and the gym.

Chan's POV
I clenched my eyes as I heard Seungcheol walk off then I felt tears slip down my face, the warmth of the tear feeling cold on my bruised cheek. I can't let him see me! He'll go crazy!

I walked into class then pulled my mask up higher, keeping my head down now as I went to a seat in the back and sat. When I heard Vernon's laughter coming in, I silently cursed and turned my head away some.

"Oh, hey, Dino!" I heard Ming Hao and gave them a silent wave.

"Dino?" Vernon called me and I turned some, letting them see the mask.

"Oh, do you not feel good?!" Vernon asked and I shook my head, not saying anything. They'd hear how swollen my lip is if I tried to talk.

"You should get some rest, Dino! It's not good to push yourself!" Ming Hao said and I nodded, silently praising the professor when he walked in right then. All through class, my friends kept trying to get little comments from me, but I kept my mouth shut and didn't even raise my hand for questions.

"Alright, class dismissed! Remember-" I ran out before I heard the rest of what the professor was saying, hearing my friends yell for me, but I couldn't. If they saw me, they'd tell Seungcheol and Seungcheol would get mad at me for causing him so many issues the first week of school. I can't handle it when Seungcheol is mad at me.

"LEE CHAN, STOP THE FUCK RIGHT NOW!" I heard and froze, wincing as Jihoon stepped in front of me and gave me a glare as Vernon and Ming Hao caught up to us, panting now as Jihoon eyed me.

"Take the mask off right now!" Jihoon snapped and I shook my head, refusing to obey.

"Do not make me take it off for you, Lee Chan! Take off your mask!" Jihoon ordered and I closed my eyes, looking away and keeping the mask in place.

"Dino, seriously, it's just a mask!" Vernon said and I sighed. I grabbed Jihoon's arm then yanked him to the nearest men's bathroom, the other two following.

"Dino-" Jihoon stopped as I finally pushed my hoodie back off my head then I pulled the mask off, showing him the bruises. The three of them were quiet for a moment before Jihoon took a deep breath.

"Who did this?!"

Seungcheol's POV
Anger unlike anything I've ever felt before filled every cell in my body as I saw him. Rage, pure and unfiltered, drove me to step closer. But the memory of this being my Channie made me gently cup his jaw, force his head up to look at me.

"Tell me-"

"Cheol-"

"Chan!" I growled and he stopped, whimpering now as tears filled his eyes. They weren't bruised, thankfully, but both of his cheeks were, his lip was busted, he had bruises on his neck, and that was just what I could see past his sweater and baggy jeans.

"Tell me who did this!" I breathed and he whined.

"I-I can't!" He cried and I looked at Vernon and Ming Hao.

"We-we don't know! He was just- He had a mask on, to hide it this morning! Jihoon managed to get him to take it off!" Ming Hao explained and I looked at Chan again, brushing my thumb over one of the purple marks on his right cheek.

"Channie, tell me who did this to you!" I had a fairly good idea, but I had to hear it. I needed to hear the name.

"You-you're mad!" Chan whispered and I frowned.

"Mad?! Chan, I'm fucking furious! Someone hurt you, and you didn't trust me enough to tell me!" I snapped and his eyes widened as he looked up at me.

"You-you're not mad at me?!" He asked and I felt like I'd just been hit in the gut with a baseball again.

"You?! Channie, I'd never get mad at you for someone hitting you!" I said and he sniffled some, more tears slipping down his cheeks.

"Doek Min!" He sobbed and I sighed, pulling him in and hugging him. He wrapped his arms around my sides then I set my hand on the back of his head, holding him as he sobbed and the other eleven stared in surprise.

"What are you going to do, Seungcheol?" Mingyu whispered and I frowned, listening to Chan sob into my shoulder.

"Get me my bat."

~*~*~*~

"HEY!" I heard as I stood on the hood of the car, swinging my bat down into the windshield.

"Dude, what the fuck are you doing?!" I heard Doek Min yell as students and staff stared, no one sure what to do. Choi Seungcheol is a perfect student, non-violent, top athlete, and yet here I stood, taking a bat to some random guy's car. I stood straight and turned, glaring at Doek Min as him and four of his friends stood there. I gripped my bat tighter then jumped off the hood, glaring down at Doek Min.

"Lee Chan!" I snarled and he went pale.

"You think I wouldn't fucking know, huh?! He lives with me, you stupid fucker!" I growled and despite everything saying to take this bat to his head, I refused to swing again.

"I know what you did to him! I warned you, Doek Min-"

"That-that was years ago!" He nervously laughed and I nodded.

"You're right, but threats don't disappear with time!" I said and backed up, turning and swinging the bat. I smashed his headlights and heard him scream again then I looked at him.

"Is that how you hit him, huh?! What?! You punched his face?!" I growled and Doek Min looked worried now as whispers began to fill the air. The most common one? 'Who is Seungcheol talking about?'

"I told you never to touch Lee Chan again!" I snarled and swung the bat again, smashing the window in his driver side door.

"COME ON, STOP!" Doek Min yelled and I glared at him. When he got too close, I grabbed his shirt and slammed him down onto the hood, noticing staff stepping closer, but also saw Dino shove his way to the front of the crowd watching with Mingyu and Jihoon.

"Cheol, stop it!" Dino yelled and I huffed, setting my bat down on the hood beside Doek Min's head, leaning down to get closer to his ear.

"Next time, I won't be swinging at your car!" I growled and let him go, taking my bat with me as I went to Dino. He sniffled as he kept his eyes on me then I wrapped my arm around his shoulders, his arm snaking around my waist now as I took him away from the scene, Jihoon and Mingyu following us.
