Lloyd watched as their father shoved some of the items in their room into a couple of bags. Their feet pushed hard into the tiny mattress, hands holding onto the bars of their crib.

The nearly two-year-old child was curious, seeing as their mother had left with her bag a little over a month ago. They had difficulty counting and putting all the days into weeks and months, but seeing as they wanted to remember when their birthday was they tried their hardest. They figured there must be only a few days before their birthday by now.

Their father was being quick about his packing as if there was a rush. He eventually met their curious gaze of red, and they smiled at the sight of purple in their dad's eyes. Pausing in his actions, Garmadon placed down the bags. With this, the flap that was covering one of the bag's openings fell flat against the floor. This let them see what was inside the bag, and they soon understood why he had dug into the box they would be put on for changing. Trying their best to glaze over them, they saw toys and even their favorite blanket.

Lloyd had never left their home as far as they knew. They also believed their stuff had never been packed up, at least not in front of them. Yet it was seeming like if they were ever leaving home it was going to be today.

Their dad lifted them out of the crib, successfully getting them to release its bars. Once they were secure and comfy in their dad's hold they looked to the man. He appeared tired, his hair messier than usual as well. "We're going to go somewhere today." Their dad spoke in an exhausted tone, and their suspicions were proven correct.

The little toddler tried their best to think of where they might be going. Since their birthday was bound to be soon, they reached a conclusion they thought to be obvious. "To Mama!"

The cheer was not met with a smile, instead a sad look was upon their father's face. "Not right now." He tried to not show how hurt he was but was failing seeing that they could see the pain in his expression. "We're going to see your Uncle Wu." He specified the location without all the venom they usually heard when their dad brought Wu up. There still was a bit of bite to his words however. He had even squeezed his eyes shut, but they caught the red that started covering up the beautiful shade of purple.

As the child was missing the eye color they had once considered unnatural, their father's eye reopened. To their amazement, the purple wasn't gone. He pressed a kiss to their forehead before setting them back in their crib. "I'll be done packing soon, and then I'll get you ready to leave." He smiled and lightly touched their nose with his pale finger.

This quite easily caused a series of giggles from Lloyd, who almost rolled over as they now laid in their crib. It wasn't a full on tickle, as it was just the nose, but they just remembered the term their mind gave them for it when a person did it to another. Boop. The word just kept them laughing, truly enjoying themselves by themselves.

Their father returned to putting things in the bags, packing as it was called. He kept his smile though, it being genuine and soft.

They wore a puffy jacket, gloves and even a hat that nearly covered their eyes. Lloyd knew what seasons were, if only from their strange mind. This was meant to be for winter. The outside, however, was autumn.

Leaves were on the ground, in their yard, and in nearly every tree they saw. Oranges, reds, and yellows brought a wonderful and happy feeling to them. They loved the colors the trees had.

Their thought about wearing too heavy a coat was put to rest soon enough. As a chill breeze came and they still felt comfortable and cozy, they decided their father had dressed them well. Lloyd's dad also had them in an odd cloth contraption. This let them face out ahead at the beautiful scenery and their home with no work on their end.

When he locked the front door they noticed an envelope sat in what they thought had to be a cubby, which was built to be connected to their door. There were a couple symbols or letters on the envelope. They were unable to look at it more as when the door made a click their dad turned away. Away from the pretty home that made them smile, and the curious envelope.

They had very pretty trees in whatever town they were in. Each made them think of wonderful things they didn't know they had seen. Fire, warm within a fireplace. The orange and yellow shades of the sky when the sun was setting. They absolutely loved being outside.

Lloyd did hope their nose wouldn't stay this cold though.

The close to two-year-old had been so excited at the beginning of the journey. Now they were struggling not to fall asleep so that they could see everything. The trees were all amazing yet they were really surprised at how their father was walking this entire time. He was carrying bags and them, and somehow managed it. He didn't complain once, but did regularly check to make sure they were okay.

They were getting closer to what had to be a mountain. They imagined at the top there would be snow. Curiosity and cold air was what kept them awake at this point, and once close enough to the mountain, they saw stone steps. They internally apologized to their dad as he began to go up the stairs. Lloyd was confused, why did their Uncle Wu live up there? They couldn't find another reason for climbing the mountain. Their uncle had to be at least a bit crazy to make the decision to live up a mountain where there were so many steps they weren't all visible from the bottom.
