Sitting in a room covered with rainbows a young boy smiles. "Mom come here!" He yells over his shoulder staring in awe at his television screen. A moment later his mother appears in the doorway.
"Yes Ryan?" She asks looking on confused at her sons excitement. In response he points wordlessly at his television. A giant banner across the bottom of the screen reads,
'GAY MARRIAGE SUPPORTERS WIN SUPREME COURT VICTORY'
The woman smiles entering the room to give her son a huge hug.
"Finally." Ryan murmurs, smiling. His future just got a whole lot brighter.

Sitting alone in her room a teenage girl opens Tumblr. She casts a quick look out her window to make sure her family is still outside. As her slow desktop computer loads Internet Explorer her eyes glimpse the document. It had a list of people who might help if her parents ever find out. The first thing she sees is a text post titled,
'US MARRIAGE EQUALITY IS SECURED THROUGH SUPREME COURT'
She smiles, but tears well up in her eyes. That would make a lot of people in the world happy. But because of what she was, she couldn't be happy, not until she got out of this damned house.

A teenage boy wanders the streets. He had heard the happy news but couldn't help but feel bitter. Now many people would turn from the LGBT causes saying they had their rights. Well, they didn't! He got kicked out of his house because he refused to be a she anymore. That wasn't who he was born as, God screwed up. But his parents said he was the screwed up one. This battle may be won but another one lay just on the horizon.

In a little house with a white picket fence a man is seething. He throws his empty beer can at the television.
"Damn it! Those stupid, idiots. How could they let those, those freaks! Win?" He seethes glaring at the TV. And at the top of the stairs his young son watches his father freak out. Was being gay wrong? Is that why daddy didn't like it when he played with dolls?
