He Knows

Regina and I sit there on the couch in the study with my head leaned on her shoulder and our hands intertwined chatting about the most random things we could think of. Until my smile breaks.
"Is everything alright Emma?" She asked with a worried tone in her voice.
"Yeah I guess..." I say with a small frown
"No it isn't Emma. Tell me what's wrong?"
"It's just Henry"
"What about Henry?"
"I think we should tell him, I mean what if he catches us together like this he will start asking questions and I think it's just better we tell him"
"You want to tell Henry?" She replied with shock
"Well...I guess" I said in soft tone
"I think you are right"
"Wait, you do?" I said very surprised at her answer
"Yeah I do" she said with a giggle
"Ok then tonight at dinner we can" I said
"That's great I'll make lasagna, his favorite"
"I have to get going now I have some sheriff work to do" I said with a small frown
"Alright" she said as she leaned into kiss me. I pulled her in wrapping my arms around her waist and she pulled away
"Emma you have to go now
"I know" I said with a frown.
We get and she walks me to the door I lean in for one more kiss until a knock on the door we both look surprised Henry doesn't get out of school until 3:30 and its only 1 so she slowly walks towards the door. It's Mr. Gold what the hell is he doing here.
"Mr Gold how lovely of you to stop by" Regina said with a fake smile
"Well Ladies I came to talk to you about your son, well I just came to talk to Ms Mills but both of you is better I guess
" What about Henry?" She snapped
"Now Ms Mills no need to snap, but he is my grandson too, right Ms Swan?" He looked at me and I nodded yes
"See Ms Mills, any how I came to ask if he would like to come stay with Belle and I for a day or two. to get him off your hands" he said with a devilish smile and a wink, Oh no does he know? I was internally screaming. Regina looked pale probably thinking the same as me but he didn't say anymore so I added
"Right, thank you Mr Gold, we will ask Henry when he gets home from school." he smiled "Ok, and ladies you aren't fooling me, if you don't want people to know try not to be so damn obvious but it is none of my business. and your secrets are safe with me no need to worry" he said with a smile and he limped out
Regina and I stood there in silence for sometime we had nothing to say until I broke the silence
"So I'll see you tonight, for dinner?"
"Yes" she replied still in shock "see you then"
I walked out and got in my car all I could think about is Gold what the hell how does he know you know what who cares he knows everything anyway.
