Aftermath

-Regina's POV-
I run into my bedroom crying and throw the pillows off my bed as angrily as I could.
"How could she say that to me!" I say barely audible as tears are rushing down my face.
"She's embarrassed by me? Fine! I get it. I guess our relationship never meant anything to her. It was just a fling I guess." I say angrily putting the pillows back on my bed.
"Great. Now I'm going crazy talking to myself." I say with my face burning from crying so much. I look in the mirror at myself.
"What am I doing? Why does this always happen to me?" I look at myself for a long moment thinking about why everyone just hurts me in the end. I get into bed and I tossed and turned almost all night and got barley any sleep. When I wake up I start to clean myself up and get ready to go out to Granny's.
As I arrive at Granny's I see Emma sitting with her parents I try not to look and go up to the counter to order a coffee.
"Regina!" Emma called to me and she approached me. I turned to her and harshly said "Ms. Swan, can I help you?"
"Yeah, Regina can we talk for a sec?" She said practically pleading.
"Sorry Ms. Swan but I'm in a bit of a hurry. Why don't you go back to your precious family." I said turning away holding my coffee and taking a sip.
"But Regina" She said with her eyes filling with tears. I turned back to face her. 
"Is there a problem?" I said taking another sip of my coffee looking for an answer.
"Of course not." She said looking down at her hands with a sad voice.
"Wonderful." I said with a fake smile.
"Now if you would let me go. I have quite the amount of work, since I think you may remember I am mayor of this town." I said annoyed by the fact she was still trying to talk to me and in public too. Wasn't she afraid someone would see us. I rolled my eyes at the thought. I turned and walked out the door before she could say anything to stop me. I didn't want to talk to anyone especially her right now. I just needed to be alone for now at least. I practically chug the rest of my coffee just to keep me awake from barely getting any sleep from our fight last night. I get to my office and sort through my work for a couple hours getting almost nothing done until I hear a knock on my door.
"Come in." I say not looking at who it is until I see a shadow hovering over my desk and I look up to see Emma and I stand up and walk closer to her.
"Look Emma I get it okay? We are over you made it perfectly clear how you feel about me, I really don't need your explanation right now or your pity or whatever you came her for." I said barely able to hold back my tears. It was silent for a while and we just kinda stared at each other. A tear slid down my face and before it could fall she wiped it off and wrapped her arms around me.
"I'm so sorry Regina. I love you so much." She said muffled by the sound of her sobs and  her burying her head in my shoulder, she squeezed me hugging me tight.
"I'm so sorry." She said. I could feel her breathing fast and loudly as she cried. I couldn't help but relax at the feeling of her warmth. This was what I had needed all day, a hug from Emma.
"I forgive you Emma. I really do. I'm sorry I was so mean at Granny's. I love you so much." I said letting more tears slide down face. She backed up just enough for our eyes to meet. She wiped the tears off my face and picked my head up with her hand and kissed me. At first I was shocked but then I knew she loved me by the way her hands moved up and down my spine giving me chills and by the way her tongue explored my mouth leaving no corner untouched. I rubbed my hands through her hair. As she led me to the couch she tripped over the table falling on top of me. We both laughed.
"Well this isn't where I was going but oh well." She said with a giggle. We stayed on the floor as she practically ripped off my shirt.
"Easy there Emma. This is a new top." I said smiling at her. She paused for a second to smile at me then went back to taking my clothes off. After all my clothes were off I couldn't help but shiver from laying on the cold tile.
"Are you cold Regina?" She said pressing her body against my naked one.
"Never with you around." I said with a smile as I pulled off her shirt and unbuttoned her bra. As soon as her shirt was off she pulled off her pants and pressed her warm body against mine which still had goosebumps from the tile. "Okay." She frowned getting up handing me my clothes and putting hers on.
"Oh shit! We need to clean this up. I can't have cum all over my office." I said even more panicked.
"Gina take a deep breath. I'll grab some towels from down the hall. It's okay. " she said calmly. She gave me one more quick kiss and pressed her chest onto mine before walking out to get the towels. She came back almost instantly.
"Thank you so much Emma you are my savior."  I said while grabbing a towel and starting to clean up the mess.
"I know." She smiled playfully. She got down and helped me clean. It only took a few minutes. I grabbed the towels and put them in the closet so I can wash them later.
"All clean." She said with a smile.
"Okay now I really should be going." She grabbed my hand and walked with me to my door and we shared one more kiss. The second her lips left mine I already missed them and the second she left I missed her.
