"we can go somewhere if you'd like." He requests and I nod with a smile. "there's a nearby cafe I used to always pass when coming here." I suggest.
"i know exactly what ur talking about." He chuckles and I do the same. He holds the door open for me to exit the room and I go to my office and grab my keys and bag.
He waits for me outside my office and we walk towards the elevator. "you look very beautiful today." He says as we walk into the elevator. "thank youuu.. the shirt is from Mae's closet."
He nods with a smile and the elevator dings. He lets me walk out first and we leave the building. "let's walk." I suggest looking up at him.
"yeah i don't mind." He says and we walk side by side in a comfortable silence to the café. 8 mins pass and we make it to the café. We walk in and I look around in awe.
"it's so pretty in here.." I trail off still looking around. "welcome! how are you doing today?" We both look forward and see a young girl standing behind the counter with a smile.
"hi! we're doing good. how are you?" I reply back with a polite smile. "i'm good, what would you like to order??" I look at Wyatt and then behind the girl where the food and prices are on a big board on the wall.
"do you know what you're getting?" I whisper to Wyatt looking up at him. "yea im just gonna get a chicken ceaser wrap and an apple juice." He whispers back with a nod.
"ok, we'll get two chicken ceaser wraps and two apple juices." I say looking in my purse to get my wallet. Wyatt stops me and gives him card to the girl.
I playfully roll my eyes and stop looking in my purse. "thank you." I say with a smile and he smiles back shyly.
We stand on the side to wait for our order and it doesn't take long. We sat at a booth that was close to the door and Wyatt tried to sit next to me but I made him sit in front of me.
"you know Mae and Noah are hitting it off pretty well." I say with a smirk then taking a bite of my wrap. "y-yes i think they look really good with each other." He says taking a sip of his juice.
"he's supposed to be asking her to be his girlfriend soon, but don't tell her or him i told you that." He says with a light chuckle.
"your secret's safe with me." I wink at him and we continue eating. I'm actually really enjoying his presence. I feel safe with Wyatt and that's weird to admit.
