Alexander Heniford killed his Michael Heniford when he was fifteen years old. His father had gone on another one of his violent, whisky-infused rampages and killed his wife and mother of their two kids. It's when Michael started for Brody who was curled up under the kitchen table that Alex lost control. It was when he felt sharp, lethal claws protrude from his fingernails, his eyes glowing a vibrant yellow, and pointed fangs grow from his smooth, human incisors. A boisterous roar elicited from the depths of his abdomen as the teenager lunged at his father. The father and son then began to fight, the two of them intending to fight to the death.
When the bloodlust cleared from Alex's sight, the yellow hue of his eyes morphed into an icy blue before returning to their natural honey brown which fell to the bloodied, lifeless of his father who rested on the crimson-stained mahogany floors.
His father's death numbed Alex and plagued his sleepless nights with nightmares. The now seventeen-year-old still dreaming of the night he and his brother lost both their parents. The night everything changed for the Heniford boys. They moved in with their aunt in Beacon Hills, their lives in Portland being left behind.
It was in Beacon Hills that Alex would befriend Scott McCall and Stiles Stilinski, the three become an inseparable trio from day one.
It's when Scott is bitten by Peter Hale the night before their sophomore year of high school and the Argent family arrives in Beacon Hills that everything changes for the three best friends. And the past Alex has pushed away for four years threatens to come to light.
