Chapter 9

~Hey it's been a hot minute. For that I am sorry. I have been dealing with a break up and needed some time. I'm back now though and I want to bring y'all an update. So let's go ahead and get into this~

It's been a few weeks since me and Paige have first kissed. It also means it's been a few weeks since our first win. Truth be told these days went by in a flash for me.

Paige and I have been hanging out like normal except now we've been kissing and getting all touchy feely. Of course not around the girls though. Don't need the girls knowing that me and Paige kiss and make out in the locker room when none of them are there.

ESPECIALLY don't need them to know I was in Paige's lap not even a couple days ago having the hottest make out session yet...

Let me tell you how hard it is to keep the secret from the teammates... like the tension in the air with Paige anymore is so hard. I can't help but want to jump her every fucking time.

Can you blame me though? Like it's not only THE Paige Bueckers but, it's Paige. The same girl that for the last few weeks made me feel a little kid again.

To someone who really never had a childhood it was a feeling that I never wanted to leave me. It's like the high you never thought you could have before. I got it and so much more with Paige and we weren't even official yet.

Today's the day though, after practice Paige is taking me on our first official date. We went to dinner and got fast food before together but never an official date yet.

Paige asked me in the cutes way ever. Last Monday after our victory the team decided to go out to dinner.

~Flashback~

"OKAY THAT'S WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT LADIES!" Of course my girl Nika is hyping us all up. We made her the official hype girl and KK. It was our first move as captains.

"What she said, now I think this victory calls for some DINNER! Let's all go out and celebrate the UCONN way!" Everyone was agreeing but me and Paige looked at each other.

We knew this meant no game winning snuggles and kisses. We had to keep up a front for the team and that meant we had to go. I wasn't complaining too much cause we were both definitely tired.

I mean a collective total of 50 points, 12 assists, 9 rebounds and 5 steals. We were both deserving of a meal. Honestly, Paige and I have been scoring none stop and the stats show it.

Right now me and Paige are top 5 in scoring for the NCAA. Of course I am higher rank than her because of the first game and I score about 10 or so more points in a game than her.

This game was no different, Paige had 21 points and I had 29 points. I mean are a lot closer this game but honestly I think it's cute. We are the dream Duo for any team and just in general.

I love playing with her. Paige whispered in my ear, "Hey, does this mean even after I can't get snuggles?" Omg I know this girl isn't serious... she's too cute.

"Sadly no snuggles for us. Remember I have a test tomorrow and you do too. So we need a little time to study."

"I don't. Mine is in math so imma just wing that shit."

"Well mine is in anatomy and physiology, I need to get a good grade on this one to stay at the top of my class."

"Smarty pants." She just rolled her eyes as we all got finished getting dressed. We all figured we should just say fuck it and go to dinner in the warm ups.
