Chapter 5: They finally reunite

Eve pov

I woke up in my bedroom confused for a sec until I remembered seeing him.... Alastor. The one i have longed to see and the one i have always wanted to see. I just ran away and I couldn't handle it. My tears start to fall again as my body shakes softly. He was there and I just ran away. I silently cried, unable to hold my tears back as small sniffles escaped from me while not noticing my youngest son had walked in. I only noticed when he was hugging my side and was telling me 'it's okay' or 'we can kick him out if he hurts you' kind of thing.

I shake my head softly as my voice sounds like it was breaking slightly "Where is he..?" asking CC as he looks worried but then says "He's in the study with big sis." I hugged CC one last time then got up and headed out of my room. CC was following me as I went near the door to the study when I heard his voice. He sounded like a radio station switching through channels but it was still a smooth and silky kind of voice.

"Sarah, I have no plans on leaving you, the other kids or your mother." He says to Sarah who was making a soft elk like noise. I froze realizing she may just go insane again. I opened the door which made a slight creak catching all of their attention. Sarah, who has her hands behind her back, was keeping an eye on Alastor. For a few minutes I stared at Alastor as my tears were about to fall again.

Alastor pov

She was staring at me as her tears started to fall again. My legs moved on their own as I was now standing in front of her. Eve looks down as she starts shaking softly. I gently grab her hand and lift it to my face ignoring the glares. My other hand rests on the side of her cheek, getting her to look at me softly as she starts crying softly. "Darling I'm here and I'm not going anywhere." I tell her as she just jumps into me wrapping her arms around me tightly.

Holding her tightly to me as she cried and cried falling onto our knees. I rub her back making circle motion as Sarah walks over and kneels down next to us. She hugs us not saying anything as Eve cries begin to die down. She remains still in my arms sniffling as I noticed the other kids were out somewhere else.

A good bit while we were sitting in the kitchen and it was awkward between us to say the least. I fiddled with my staff as Sarah was basically glued to her mom. "Well my dear. I guess I can start then." I say in my cherry radio voice with a small bit of static. Eve's hands were shaking slightly as Sarah crossed her arms.

"These days I've been helping Lucifer's kid out at a Hotel for redemption! And we have won a war against heaven!" I say as Eve stares at me in shock and Sarah didn't show what she felt. "Now my dear what about you?" I ask Eve as I place my hand on hers which Sarah started making an elk like sound in annoyance.

"Well I adopted 3 kids and uh.." She looks down then mumbles "Just been surviving.." My eyes softened as we all went silent. Sarah hugs Eve tightly as she spoke "I will leave you two together. Mom shout if you need anything." She disappears into the shadows. Me and Eve are left together alone. 'How do I do this..?'

Eve pov

It was at least 5 hours later and we were still talking about what's been happening in hell. 'He still enjoys tormenting people but at least still cares about his friends.' I silently thought as we held each other's hands. "And that's how Charlie got cake all over her face at the wedding!" Alastor tells me he held my hands. I giggled while smiling softly as he also chuckled at the story he told me. I noticed his dear ears would go up and down throughout the story.

I stood up which made Alastor raise his eyebrows as I went behind him and impulsively pet his ears. He went still but made a purr elk sound? "Darling, are you petting my ears?" He asks as I went red from embarrassment but still pet because they are soft. "Y-yes." I mumble softly as he just leans back and looks up at me. I notice his cheeks were slightly flushed as he says "Alright just this once you can pet them for as long as you want." I smile happily petting them while giggling.

CC: -stares at cookies-

Sarah: -raises an eyebrow- CC what on earth are you doing?

CC: -still staring- The cookies have been flying away

Sarah: im sorry but what the fuck?

CC: -still staring-

Elizabeth: -walks in and uses levitate and has the cookie land in her mouth-

CC: -points at elizabeth- COOKIE LANDED IN YOUR MOUTH HOW?!

Elizabeth: thats because the cookie wanted to be eaten by me

Sarah: -looking dumbfounded and walks out- nope im not dealing with that.

Eve: -reading a book-

Michael: -walks in- hey mom! Wanna hear a song?

Eve: -looks up from the book- sure what is it?

Michael: listen ma -plays the song Centuries by Fallout boys-

Eve: -enjoys the song-

Michael: -all of the sudden song switches to Never gonna give you up on repeat-

Eve: -places bookmark in her book- count to 3 kid

Michael: -runs out having the song on repeat at full volume-

Eve: -shouts- 3  girls go ahead his yours

-distant shouts that sounded suspiciously like Sarah and Elizabeth in another form scaring Michael-

Alastor: -was eating a dead deer-

Sarah: -slams door open- Alastor Why the fuck are you eating a rotten deer?

Alastor: -froze looking between her and his dead deer then continues eating- Because it is delicious

Sarah: -raises an eyebrow- more delicious then moms cooking?

Alastor: -almost immediately chokes- your mom is cooking?!

Sarah: -smirks evilly- maybe i can tell mom not to make you anything since your already eating~

Alastor: -makes radio static elk noise- don't. you. even. dare.

Sarah: -runs off shouting- MOM!!!!

Alastor: -throws his silverware off somewhere chasing after sarah- HONEY DONT LISTEN TO THE RASICAL
