Therapist Pov

Mrs. Davidson is the next family member who is sitting in front of me. When she entered my office tears were streaming down her face and all she was flopped on the couch. I got up from my desk and walked over to her and pushed the tissue box toward her.

"Here you go." I said then sat down in my therapist chair. "Thank you." She said grabbing a couple tissues blowing her nose then burst into more tears.

"So." I started. "Tell me what happened."

She looked at shocked as her mouth gaped open a little. "Mr. Scott, but shouldn't say good morning to your clients and how are you feeling?"

"I'm sorry Mrs. Davidson but from what I observed when you entered my office. It doesn't look like you are having a good morning and it's obvious that you aren't fine." I gently told her hoping to not upset her anymore then she already is.

She sighed and nodded. "You are right."

"I'm right what?"

"Everything you said. My morning has been terrible from the time I woke to the time I arrived here. I don't what you and my husband talked about, but he seems happier, I wasn't planning on coming here but he convinced me." She looked straight at me. "Before he went to work today, he told me I won't regret it. What did you say to him for him his whole mood change?"

I shrugged. "We just talked I'm a therapist and it's my job to figure out what your problems are. What might wrong with you, your family, or what is might be going on in your life that you or anyone else might not be able to explain." I picked up my pencil. "Now let's talk." I smiled getting ready to write down whatever she tells me.

She takes a breath in and out then starts explaining to me what's been happening in her family.

_____

"Mrs. Davidson with everything you told me it appears to me that you have trust issues. You are suspicious of your husband because of his work schedule. To me it sounds like he's a hardworking man who's trying to provide for his family and you are not working, am I right?"

Her face turned red and she looks down not meeting my eyes. I continued. "Also, your oldest son it's obvious that he has anger issues and needs help before he hurts himself or someone else. Then your two youngest the boy and girl, I paid close attention to them while they were here with you and the young boy might have anxiety and something else, he needs to work out since he keeps disappearing when Mr. Davidson comes home and you all arguing don't help. That goes for both youngest kids." I paused letting sink in. "You should want a healthy home environment for all your kids."

The woman burst into more tears after I was finished and sighed feeling sorry.

"I'm sorry, M-" She cut me off. "No! Mr. Scott you are right I have raised my kids in an unhealthy environment. My husband is at work most of the times which leaves me, things need to change. We as parents need to do better."

I sat back grinning. "You understand?"

She nodded and returned a grin. "Yes, you are a good therapist Lion Scott." She says using my full name while getting up from where she's been sitting. I looked at my watch. "We still have time." I told her confused because we aren't done with our session.

"I know but I think you helped me out a lot and I feel better. Thank you." She gave me a hug when I stood up. "You're welcoming I'm looking forward to seeing your family all together again."

She laughed when she pulled. "Yea, but you have to speak to our laugh three kids before that happens. And one of them is more tricky then the other two."

"I'm prepared." I tell her walking her to the door. "Oh, Mrs. Davidson." She turned around to look at me. "Yes?"

"Remember, God is always a prayer away."

She gave me a small smile and nodded. "Thank you again Mr. Scott, I hope you have a blessed night." I closed the door when she left and walked back to my desk.

"Three more... Jason's up next." I sighed.

"Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." I kept repeating to myself three times then I started writing down things I noticed about Jason when he first came here with his parents and siblings to see me.
