Humans. Wretched, vile, disgusting creatures. Never understood why they were made only for things to go horribly wrong. In the beginning they were... gullible, easy to trick. Now, if they aren't led by greed, they think before they sign, they go over their... options.
"I need you to do a job." This caught my attention. Going on jobs was my specialty. I'm good at what I do, which is why all of these higher ups hire me to do their dirty work. From stealing secrets to taking out whistle blowers, I do it all... almost all. "What is it?" I asked, grabbing the folder my boss dropped on his desk in front of me and flipping through it. There were pictures of a human woman in it.
I parted my mouth about to speak, but my boss held up his hand to stop me. "I know what you're about to say, you don't do human jobs, but listen to me." I sat back in my chair crossing my arms across my chest. "My daughter, my pride and joy, has fallen for a human male. As much as I despise the thought of a human, I'll do anything for my daughter. I need you to spy on the human woman he is currently in relations with, and take her out." I opened the folder again and picked up a photo of the human woman. "Why not just steal the male? Why do you need me?" I asked. He grinned. "You're the best one for the job! Also, you're the only one who won't go around defiling my name and telling everyone that my daughter has...", He cringes, "fallen for a human male." He finishes.
I looked down at the photo again that was in my hand. She looked... happy. She was weird looking also. I don't think I've ever seen a human of her... complexion. Dark skin and overly... fluffy? I think... hair. Her hair was pulled back into what looked like a bun, but not one I've ever seen... interesting. "What's in it for me?"
Boss snapped his fingers and a puff of smoke appeared in front of me. "Anything that heart of yours desires." I peered into the smoke and saw a reflection of myself in the ninth circle, with all of the power I dreamed of. "You want to be a ninth circle demon?" He said from behind me. I clenched my jaw, not wanting to show any emotion on my face, but being a ninth circle demon is something I've longed for since I started doing dirty work. The amount of power I'll be able to have to escape the life I'm living now, it sounds exhilarating. I cleared my throat. "You just need me to kill the girl and kidnap the male?"
I watch as the boss returned back to his seat behind his desk. He leaned back in his chair, putting his feet up on the polished wood. "I've sent other demons before you to take this girl out, but they all came back saying the same thing." He pulled out another piece of paper out of his desk drawer. "They all said that she made them see things... horrible things.'" He read off of the paper. "What type of things?" Boss shrugged. "All I know is, is after they saw whatever they saw, they immediately quit right after. I know you won't, because you're stronger than that. I'm putting a lot on the line for this job. I need it to get done."
I tossed the picture on to the desk. "You have nothing to worry about, I'll get it done." Boss relaxed his shoulders. "I know you will."

The human realm. It smells awful. The last time I came here was when they were in the... 1700's? I think. It was when this America place was first starting. I walked down the streets of the city, locating my assignment. There are a lot of people who are the same complexion as the woman who I was assigned to. I've never seen so many, or any, at all in my life. Then again, it's been a while since I've been here.
I weaved my way through multiple bodies. One thing about being a demon, even though I can't be seen...people can still feel my touch. Following my magic, tracking the trail of green it made eventually I found my assignment. She lived in the poverty-stricken, ran down part of the city. I made my way to her building and walked right through the door, into the small apartment. No one was currently here, so I decided to explore. When first walking through the door you're immediately in the living room. There was a small couch in front of a tv that was hung up on the wall. To my left was the kitchen and dinning room and in front of me was a small, almost narrow hallway that lead to the other rooms.
