5.) Valentinos New Toy

   I looked at the ground after giving the contract back to Val. I could feel the tension in the air, Vox had gotten up and left the room. Fucker was probably listening in right now.

"Well, be here tomorrow at 6 am on the dot for your first day."

"Yes, Val," I said I slowly got up and walked away. When I got in the elevator I felt the tears burn my eyes. I would not cry in this building, there was not going to be a video of my tears. This was probably the worst thing to happen yet. I hated Valentino, I signed the contract and it was done. I had a plan and I hoped and prayed to whoever was listening to me in Heaven. I promised Velvet that I would see her no matter how the conversation went. I hit the button on Velvettes floor. I wanted to go see her, more like I had to see her. I wiped my eyes as I waited for the doors to open. Once the doors opened I stepped out looking at the mess.
   Velvettes studio was torn to shreds, there were pieces of fabric everywhere. Her mannequins were thrown all over the room. I sighed, I had hurt her feelings. My heart broke at the thought of not getting to see Velvette as much as I had in the past. Valentino better let me see her. Angel and Velvette were both comfort people for me. Hurting either of them was like someone stabbing me in the stomach.  
   I walked around looking for Velvette when I finally heard someone crying softly. Velvette was on her couch with her head in her hands. I sat beside her pulling her into a hug. She grabbed my shirt holding me.

"Vel, I love you. I promise I'm not leaving you" I said softly. Those were the last words I spoke when we "broke up". We never officially broke up, we understood how focused we were on our jobs. Vel understood how I wanted to help my sister. We kept that part out of our relationship but when the extermination happened I stepped away.

"You belong to him now. He's not gonna let you stay here with me." She finally got out. Her eyes looked up at me softly. I wiped the tears away and kissed her forehead. My sweet baby, a brat to others

"I don't care, I'll sneak down to see you." I smiled, I knew Valentino would throw a fit but my heart loved Velvette. This was a rough situation because my heart loved Angel as well.

"Do you love him more than you love me?"

"Who" I questioned Velvette.

"Angel Dust..." I leaned in close. Velvette knew I was pansexual of course but she also knew I was polyamorous.

"Velvette, don't make yourself jealous." I kissed her nose softly.

"D-do I have to touch him" This made me laugh. Velvet didn't want to be with Angel just me from the sounds of it.

"Babygirl, no no stop worrying about that. You don't have to be with Angel. I didn't even know if I was going to get to be in a relationship with him." I kissed her forehead again as she leaned into my embrace.
   I held her softly as she cried more, I let my hands softly caress her back. I was a very touchy girlfriend when it came to her. She hated being touched by anyone else. I have seen her cut people's fingers off in the studio when they touched her shoulder. Anyway, if I had the chance I was going to comfort her physically.

"I love you," she said in between hiccups.
   She had finally stopped crying. I smiled and pulled back to see her beautiful face. She leaned up and kissed me softly. I kissed her back putting my hands on her cheeks, she snuck her hands in my hair and softly tugged. I smirked and pulled away.

"I gotta be back at 6 am tomorrow. Val will be pissed if I'm late on my first day. If I get out early I'll come down and spend the rest of the day with you." I said kissing her nose before I got up. She looked said but nodded.

"Te amo" (I love you) I said as I walked away. She giggled. Her laugh and giggle were like a drug to me. I missed getting to spend time with her. Cuddle on the couch watching fashion shows was her favorite.
