So the story starts when Aarav Maheshwari finally agreed to an arranged marriage. His whole family had been pushing him for the past year to say yes so they could find a good match. Today, while everyone was having breakfast at the dining table, his mom, Kavita, brought it up again, saying, "Aarav, do you still need to think about it?" Aarav replied, "Alright, Mom, go ahead and find someone. I'm saying yes. I'm ready for marriage."

Hearing this, everyone got up in excitement because, finally, a wedding was going to happen in their house. His mom and chachi were especially thrilled and started discussing what all needed to be done right there at the table. Since they already had a lot of proposals, Kavita said, "Aman, go grab a folder from the side table behind me, quickly!"

"Okay, Mom," Aman said, saluting, and went off to get the folder from the side table.

He brought the folder back and handed it to his mom. Then Kavita got up, went over to Aarav, and sat down next to him. She opened the folder and said, "Here, beta, tell us which one you like. We'll go with that one."

Everyone else was shocked seeing all the preparation, and Aarav stared wide-eyed at them. After a moment, he finally said, "Mom, what's going on? We're not buying clothes or stuff; why are you sitting with a catalog?"

Seeing his reaction made everyone laugh, but he wasn't entirely wrong. In her defense, his mom said, "Well, what should I do? We've had these proposals coming in for almost a year. Some were good, so I kept them. And all of them are still ready for your marriage."

"Come on, at least take a look. You never know, you might like someone," she said. "And all of these are from good families." With that, she thrust the folder into his hands and insisted he go through all the photos and biodatas.

She also took some biodatas out of the folder and handed them out to the family members.Everyone in the family knew there had been a lot of proposals, but they didn't realize Kavita had organized them so thoroughly.
Since it was Sunday, everyone was free, so they all got involved in the #AaravKiDulhaniya mission. The servants cleared the entire dining table, and now all the biodatas were spread out there for everyone to review.

Aarav was still in shock, and seeing his mom's level of preparation made him think that if he said yes to anyone, they would show up with a proposal at their home the very next day.

The atmosphere there was such that around 50 biodatas were spread out on the table, and everyone was picking them up and checking them out. They were even insisting Aarav look at some of them. He had already glanced same biodata for 2-3 of same girl and was starting to get irritated.

When his patience ran out, he shouted, "Ruk jaiye aap sab!" because it felt like a complete chaos had erupted in the room.
"You all want me to look at these, right?" Aarav asked. Everyone nodded in agreement. "Great," he said, "then gather them all together and let me review them one by one, okay."

Although he didn't feel comfortable doing it, Aarav had to go along with it because of the family pressure.

Everyone had settled quietly into their chairs, and Aarav was going through each photo and biodata one by one. He felt like he was selecting candidates for a job interview.

But after reviewing the first 10 proposals, Aarav's mind was blown. He recognized the fathers or businesses of all the proposals and realized that they were all just there to boost their own business profits. As he continued to look through more, his head started spinning.

"Mom, Dad, don't you think it's not right to reject girls like this? I mean, how can I just randomly select someone based on their photo? And from what I've seen so far, I'm not understanding anything. It feels like I'm selecting candidates for an interview."
