Field Trip (An Amazing Digital Circus Road Trip)

Pack Your Bags

It was a sunny morning in The Amazing Digital Circus (as usual), and Caine seemed excited over something.

"I have planned an extra special adventure for today!" He exclaimed, floating over the dining table where everyone was seated.

"The last time you said 'an extra special adventure' you meant cleaning the toilets." Zooble remarked in her usual tone, taking a bite of her 3D omelette.

"Ah, but today will be different my good friend! Today, we are going on a road trip!"

"Oh, well that doesn't sound too bad." Ragatha commented, sounding relieved.

"Just wait for the seating arrangements." Jax replied, nudging her shoulder.

"Let me get the packing and seating lists ready to go!" Caine snapped his fingers and two long lists of white paper appeared in his hands.

He cleared his throat. "The driver for this road trip is: me!"

"Oh great." Zooble mumbled.

"The passenger will be... Pomni!"

The little jester girl shivered.

"Oh cmooon, it won't be so bad! Not after the crappy songs and stupid jokes it won't be!" Jax told her, sounding sarcastically optimistic.

"The two back seats are... Jax and Ragatha!"

The rabbit and the rag doll exchanged unamused glances.

"The three in the back will be: Zooble, Kinger and Gangle!"

"You can't squash me in the back with them!" Zooble protested.

"Guess what Zooble! I just did!"

Zooble growled and continued eating.

"That leaves Bubble in the trunk!"

Everyone let out sighs of relief.

"Now that that's settled, let's get packing!" Caine announced. Snapping his fingers once more, multiple color coded suitcases appeared.

"As usual, the rainbow ones are for Zooble, the red ones are for Gangle, the tan ones are for Kinger, the yellow ones are for Jax and so on and so forth! Here are your packing lists!" He cartoonishly stretched out the list and it multiplied into eight different lists. He handed out the six and kept the two for him and bubble.

"Ah yes! Ragatha, since this is Pomni's first time, Ragatha, would you please help her pack?"

"Of course!" She answered, smiling at Pomni.

  "Let's get this show on the road!"

One hour later...

"That's not my plastic bat wing!" Gangle told tearily to Caine.

Someone had switched the items in the suitcases.

"We can sort this out!" Caine cried hopefully.

"Caine, I don't think this is my jester hat." Ragatha held up Pomni's hat.

"Who could have done this?" Caine asked.

"Jax." Zooble answered in an angry tone.

Caine wooshed over to the purple rabbit. "Jax?"

"Just having a little fun." Jax put a hand on his hip.

Caine sighed then snapped his fingers. It put everything in the proper bags.

"It's time to go!" He cried. "Come with me, my little superstars!"

Everyone followed Caine into a garage that was hidden in a section of the tent. The tooth man opened the door to reveal a red minivan.

"This is the car we're taking?" Zooble asked.

"Indeed it is!" Caine answered. "Put all your luggage in the trunk! Now let's get this show on the road!"

Everyone filed into their seats.

"Alright! Since our last road trip, I have downloaded a database of various tourist spots and attractions! Now we will have cities and whatnot! Alright! Everyone buckled?"

Caine turned around to face everyone.

"Off we go!"
