WORLD'S APART PART ONE

"BANG!!!". Both bodies fell next to the table in the library as the book spit them out. Logan arose first since he had the most decent landing, surprisingly on his back, he looked up at the book as it closed and fell right on his hand. For Lauren it wasn't a smooth landing since she landed right on her wound in her left arm. She groans in pain as blood flows again. She rises up looking at her "saviour". He's tall yet having an amazing build for a teenager with his porcupine hair. He wore a black T-shirt with a tight denim jacket with grey jeans and some grey sneakers covered with mud and moss. She tried to rise up but the pain was so much to bear as she slipped down to her knees. Logan came to her side to offer his hand but she instantly slapped it away as she stood up using her right hand. Logan backed away as he still gazed at her. To Logan's eyes she was still beautiful even in pain. He continued to stare down at her nice body. Her amber hair matched perfectly with the fencing outfit she had on. Her waist and breasts were all more appealing to his eyes as he continued to stare down to her hips. She quickly broke the awkward silence by pulling out her scarlet sword and pointing it towards Logan.

"Are you a magus?" She asked.

"A who now??...." He confusingly replied as he was bagged into a corner.

"Answer me!!!! Are you a magus? She shouted closing the distance between Logan and the wall behind him.

" Ok look, I don't if am a magus or not so............"

"Next question. Where are we? Which dimension have you taken me in?" She asks drawing closer.

"We are in Earth ok. But first we gotta deal with your injury because news flash your bleeding." He said faintly staring at her arm oozing blood.
Lauren looked at her arm but her vision became blurry as she fell down. Logan quickly went to assist her as the saber disappeared. Logan quickly covered her with his jacket as he slowly helped her stand.

" I need to get you somewhere safe but we need to treat your injury first." He said as he headed for the library door.

"Do you know such a place?" Lauren asked.

"Yes but it would lead you to being exposed." He said reaching for the door knob.

"No!!! You brought me into your dimension you have to deal with it am in no position to help you even after you helped me escape." She replied slowly frowning.

"Ah ok then I guess we are doing this the easy way." Logan said letting out a skeptical sigh.
"But the easy way isn't the best way. You'll have to trust me and wait here for a while." He said setting her down the other side of the huge library doors.

"Fine. I swear on my bloodline." She said coughing.

"Just stay ok atleast for your sake." Logan said as he went for the door knob. "Please be open." He prayed as he twisted the knob and the door opened. He let out a sigh of relief and peeked outside to get a glimpse of the hallway. It was evening as the orange sky and noisy car horns signified that it was late and most of the school was gone. He saw Sammy coming and quickly gestured his way to him. Sammy's expression sent lots of red flags to Logan as he came by the door.

"Ok no excuse this time. Please tell me what the fuck is going on?" He said with one brow raised.

"Ummmm........ I'll explain everything but first is there anyone left at school?" Logan asked.

"Apparently, the girl's soccer team is still around and they have drills around the entire school."
"But wait why are you asking all this?" He asked puzzled. Even for a guy like Sammy with his smarts, sometimes it's funny when he doesn't understand Logan's plans.

"Look I need a favor from you, i need you to distract the girl's soccer team just enough for me to get the fucking hell out of here." Logan replied tightening his grip around the knob.

" Out of all things you've cooked up, this is gonna be the most stupidest. What are you even hiding?" He asked still puzzled.

"I'll explain later just distract them for me." Logan asked

" No sir, your on your own." Sammy said shrugging off.

"Then am sorry."

"For what?"

"This". As soon as Logan finished talking, he tossed a pair of pink panties at Sammy who caught them surprisingly quick.

"What the fu............" Sammy held the panties in the air as he saw Logan quickly shut the library door as the girls soccer team came at the same time. It was priceless to see a teenage boy holding a pair of pink panties as he tried to look like the victim. One girl looked at Sammy and just shouted
" Pervert" as Sammy made a break for the other end of the hallway with an angry group  of girls chasing him. Logan quickly got out with Lauren as they quickly made for the lower floor and out the gate. Luckily a taxi came by and Logan called for it as he told Lauren to sit in.

" What magic is this? I refuse to enter." She quickly said as the driver looked grumpier than a stand in for Santa Claus at the mall.

" Just enter please it will get us to my home where it's safe so just bare with me." Logan pleaded as he let Lauren sit. Before he could get in, he could hear an angry group of girls and the howl of his best friend as he tried to reach for the gate until he was blocked by another group of girls. Logan could see Sammy as clear as day. His scared expression didn't actually fit his face since he'd never treated Sammy like a puppet ever since there days in pre-school. As soon as Sammy set his sights on Logan he shouted.

"Come help me you ass hole."

"Sorry but I gotta go but you owe me one right." Logan said as he entered the taxi.

"The only thing I owe you is death you hear me." He angrily shouted as he made a clean right turn for the second floor staircase.

"I've never seen such a level of indecency as a woman am utterly disgusted." Lauren said disappointed by Logan's method of escape.

"Hey it was the only way to get you out of there so I had to do what I had to do as a man. Blackmail." Logan said feeling proud of himself only to get a sigh of disgust from Lauren as his form of praise.

"Where did you even get those unmentionables from?"

"No idea I guess they appeared out of no where." He replied looking at his hand.

"You conjured them up from thin air?!Are you sure your a magus or just an apprentice?" She asked surprised.

"I don't know." He replied. But he definitely knew that this wasn't true. Logan quickly tried to remember vividly what happened but all he could remember was a dark cloud and suddenly the panties were in his hands. It's funny that that's what he was thinking Lauren would be wearing but for a brief moment he just couldn't understand what had led to that situation with Sammy. They continued through the busy city side of South Leicester as Lauren stared amazed at the structures. Logan took a quick glance at her. She seemed warmer now, she was at ease and he felt it which made him just chuckle as the ride continued in silence. They reached Logan's home as soon as the sun set it sent amber rays onto Logan's house. He quickly pulled out his house key from one of the pockets in his trousers and opened the door to a small hallway. He quickly rushed Lauren inside and shut the door. Lauren slowly walked stunned by the interior as Logan came by her and sat her on the couch in the living room.
She sat down willingly as Logan paced around looking at the windows.

"Looks like you weren't followed." He said closing the curtains in the living room." So who are you?" He asked turning towards her.
"And here I thought you were my savior but you have to answer to me first
