As Damian's grip on the corpse loosened, his body went limp, and he crumpled to the ground, unconscious. Panic seized Lucas as he rushed to Damian's side, his voice trembling with fear as he called out his friend's name over and over again.

"Damian, Damian, Damian!!!" Lucas's desperate cries echoed through the air as he hoisted Damian's unconscious form out of the hole, his heart pounding with anxiety.

With quick thinking, the girl sprang into action, retrieving water from her bag and splashing it onto Damian's face in an attempt to revive him. Slowly, Damian began to stir, his eyelids fluttering as consciousness slowly returned to him.

"D-Damian, are you okay?" Lucas asked, his voice laced with concern as he watched his friend regain awareness.

As Damian's senses gradually came back to him, his lips parted, and he whispered a single word: "Valor." It was as though the name escaped his lips instinctively, a fragment of his subconscious mind emerging into the waking world.

With Damian still in a state of semi-consciousness, Lucas and the girl exchanged worried glances. "Are you okay?" Lucas asked, his voice filled with concern as Damian gradually regained full consciousness.

Damian blinked, his mind still reeling from the intensity of his experience. "What happened, Damian? Was it the visions?" Lucas pressed, his eyes searching Damian's face for answers.

Damian took a deep breath, a faint smile playing at the corners of his lips. "It was the visions," he confirmed, his voice tinged with awe and wonder. "The legends are true, Lucas."

Lucas shook his head in disbelief, his mind struggling to comprehend the enormity of what Damian was suggesting. "Unbelievable," he murmured, a mix of astonishment and disbelief coloring his tone. "You have to tell me what you saw, Damian," he urged, his curiosity piqued.

As Damian began to recount the details of his visions, the air around them seemed to crackle with anticipation. With each word, the mystery deepened, and the weight of their newfound knowledge settled heavily upon them. But amidst the uncertainty, there was also a sense of resolve—a shared determination to confront the challenges ahead and uncover the truth hidden within the ancient legends.

"Thinking of it ,you guys haven't asked my name since we met," the attacked girl remarked.

"Shut up, Elena," Lucas responded in a teasing manner, his attention still focused on Damian. "I'm listening to Damian," he continued.

Elena chuckled softly, her smile lighting up her features as she playfully hit Lucas's head. "Mmmmh, I guess you know," she said, her tone lighthearted.

Lucas glanced at her, a mischievous twinkle in his eye. "Yeah, yeah, I've got it," he replied with a grin.

Meanwhile, Damian had already begun to formulate a plan. "Lucas, take a piece of bone from the corpse and cover up the grave," he instructed, his voice steady.

Lucas looked puzzled. "What for?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I'll explain as we go home," Damian said as he rose to his feet, a sense of purpose guiding his movements.

"Hey, Elena," Damian called out, drawing her attention.

"Yes?" Elena replied, turning to face him with a curious expression.

Damian grinned mischievously. "Everybody knows you in this town, after all, you escaped an animal attack," he said, a playful glint in his eye.

Elena chuckled, a hint of amusement dancing in her eyes. "Yeah, I guess I'm becoming quite the local legend," she quipped, the tension of their previous conversation momentarily forgotten.
