It's been a while you and Simon started dating, you always take time, letting him get used to their relationship. You didn't forced him or anything and let him just take his time. It's what he loved about you, how you understand him and make him feel wanted and that he could take the time he needs.
It's been a week since he started to sleep in your bed, it's been a while since he trusted someone that much. He didn't even do nightmare.. even he did sometimes he would always just hug you tightly until he fall asleep again. And if you were wake up you would gently rub his back.
It's been now a few day since he got an accident on a mission, the building where he was had exploded and a lot of debris had fallen on him, enough for kill him if the team were not fast and he tried to stay alive. Since then he stopped sleeping on your bed, he didn't talk much but you were thinking he was like that with everyone. You didn't stop taking care of him. He needed you right now plus you still loved him so.
One day as you walk, a gift on your hand for him; is favorite snack. You heard someone laugh from his room. You looks in and saw the new recruit Ghost had been friends with since a few weeks. Even after the accident; Sara.
You looks at him and saw him talk softly. Your heart tightened but you still smile as you see him getting better. But as soon as you come in he looks like before even a little brothered that you were here. Same for Sara. She rolls her eyes and sight heavily for being sure you heard it. You feel you heart even more tighten but even more when you heard Simon voice.
"What do you want?" He ask as he looks at you. He looks exatly at Ghost. The Ghost you knew when you met him. You feel disturbs and a little shocked. He never talk to you in this tone.
"I take you your favorite snack.." you whisper as you look at him and give him the little box you made. You actually cook them because you knew he loved home made.. until he said.
"Ugh- you cook again ? You couldn't just buy something." He said as he look in it.
"Oh.. I'm sorry." You whisper as you looks at him. You feeled horrible. Even more when you saw Sara's smirk on he lips.
"Yeah yeah whatever. Could you leave ?" He ask. You looked at Ghost and shivers.
"Okay. I love you." You said with a little smile. You saw his eyes move a little instant before he sighed.
"Bye." He just respond and your heart break.
You leaved the room, hearing they're laugh behind. You feels humiliated. You stayed in your room, hoping he would send an apology text but no. It was not your Simon..
You didn't said anything, you still sayed by his side. When Sara was not here he talked like an normal person. Not like he would talk to his girlfriend.. but a new person.
You sight as you were walking on the corridor, a bad on you back. You were leaving for an important mission. As you were passing next to the hall you heard Ghost and Gaz voice.
"Bro.. you can't said that like that.." Gaz said as he cross his arms, he looked angry, it was actually the first time you see Gaz acted like that.
"Listen.." Ghost start "I could died that day.. but I don't know.. out of nowhere I think about Sara.. and I immediately tried to stay conscious till y'all could come and I success.. she's the reason I'm still here." Ghost said. Not knowing your not far away.
You heart break completely, you knew something was wrong.. you just hopped you were wrong.
"Does you cheat on y/n ?" Gaz ask as he look at Ghost like he didn't believe him.
"No.. we just ki-" Ghost started and then a loud noise resonated. Gaz just slap him.
"You're a f*cking idiot." Gaz said angrily. "No ? Kiss is cheating. How could you fucking cheat on Y/n ? When she was everything. I don't recognize you" Gaz said angrily as he walk away. You stayed in place the same way Ghost was. Standing there.
You finally move. You didn't know what take you but you go to Ghost. When he saw you his eyes widen and you could see a smile appeared on his face like his discussion with Gaz make him realized how you were everything. You slap him and before he could have any reaction he saw your tears. He then realized you heard everything.
"Y/n.." he whispered, his hand move for taking yours.
"There is no Y/n. Fuck you Lieutenant. I hate you." You whisper, tears in you eyes as take off the necklace he give you for your birthday and give him before leave.
