As Spencer's apartment remained a crime scene, the trio opted to retreat to Molly's place. They hastily gathered some of Diana's belongings from Spencer's place before making their way to Molly's apartment.

Despite the urgency of their situation, Molly couldn't shake off a sense of worry. It made sense for them to seek refuge in her apartment, but the realization that her place was in a state of disarray unsettled her.

"Sorry for the mess... I... um... I don't know..." Molly mumbled, feeling embarrassed by the clutter that surrounded them.

"Hey, it's okay, no worries," Spencer reassured her with a comforting smile, his eyes reflecting understanding.

Molly managed a tight-lipped smile in return.

"Diana, um, you can take the bedroom," Molly offered, gesturing towards the room on the left.

"Oh no, I don't want to..." Diana started to protest, but Molly interrupted gently.

"Please, it's fine. You were literally kidnapped. We're gonna be okay."

Reluctantly, Diana nodded and headed towards the bedroom, grateful for the offer of a private space to freshen up.

Meanwhile, Molly busied herself with attempting to tidy up the living room, her mind racing with thoughts of the recent events.

As she struggled to organize the chaos around her, Spencer's worried voice suddenly filled the room as his phone rang.

Molly's heart sank as she saw his expression etched with concern.

She paused in her attempt to straighten up the living room, her hands trembling slightly.

What could be happening now? Haven't they been through enough in the last 48 hours?

"What? What do you mean...What hospital?" he exclaimed, his voice filled with urgency and fear.

Spencer's expression tensed, his eyes clouded with worry as he listened intently to the voice on the other end of the line.

"I'll be there soon. No! Garcia, I'll be there!" Spencer's voice grew more frantic as he hastily gathered his belongings

"Spencer, wait, what's going on?" Molly asked, her concern evident in her voice as she watched Spencer's panicked reaction to the phone call.

She moved closer, placing a comforting hand on his arm, silently urging him to share what was happening.

"It's Scratch... The team, they had an accident, they're all injured and..."

"Oh my god..." Molly whispered, her mind reeling with worry for their friends.

Her eyes widened in alarm as she pieced together the severity of the situation.

"Spencer, I want to help," she insisted, determined to offer her support in any way she could. "I'll go with you," she offered, her voice tinged with determination.

"No!" Spencer's response was sharp, cutting through the air like a knife. "You won't! And you can't! You can't fix everything!"

With that, he stormed out of the apartment, leaving Molly standing there, stunned and uncertain of what to do next.

............................

As she sat on the couch, her mind raced with worry and confusion. She couldn't shake the image of Spencer's distressed expression and the harshness in his voice. It was unlike anything she had ever seen from him before.

Tears welled up in her eyes as she grappled with the fear that something had fundamentally changed in him.

She had always known that prison would leave its mark on Spencer, but she never anticipated the extent of its impact. The thought that she might never regain the Spencer she knew and loved filled her with a deep sense of dread.
