The tempered summer hair breezes up, ruffling har messy curtain bangs and pushing them out of position. A well decorated hand reaches up, gold and silver rings glisten in the shining summer sun. Aurora fixes her bangs, fickling with them until she's satisfied with their position.
Her eyes are closed, she's laying down in the long green grass of her garden. A small pink flower brushes her nose, causing it to scrunch up and itch. A sneeze brews up, being released with a loud 'achoo!'. The sound causes the wildlife, that had gathered around the seemingly sleeping girl, to run off with a start.
The laying girl opened her eyes and huffed, annoyed that all her hard work in making the animals comfortable was ruined by a stupid pink flower. She sits up looking out on the long green field, bringer her knees up to her chin. She can faintly hear the sound of her father telling Ares off for eating the fish that was in the fridge. Ares was her cat, how her cat had managed to get into the fridge and then eat the fish was none of her concern.
She sat there for a few minutes just taking in the nature around her, painting a picture in her mind of the serene landscape. Hues of pink and orange had blended together in the sky, the sun having set just a few minutes ago. The apple trees in the distance showing of their blood red apples with pride. The cows were all laying down under the huge oak tree that sat in the middle of the field. This was the best part of England for her. The farm her father had bought just after moving here, although she misses her farm back in Norway, this certainly wasn't bad.
Tomorrow she was going back to Hogwarts, she was excited but also nervous. She would be entering her sixth year and she had grown up quite a bit since she had left fifth year. She didn't have a lot of friends exactly, she was friendly with many sure, but she wouldn't call them friends. She was know to be an 'oddball' and weird, so many people didn't bother getting to know her. They would never know how kind of a person she was or how she could befriend literally any creature. Due to being a sort of outcast she lost a lot of her confidence that she previously had, she grew to be more closed off and would rather talk about anything but herself.
She wanted more friends, she wanted people who would ask her how her day was or if they wanted to hang out, so she had set herself a goal.
If she could befriend one of the mauraders people would finally see her and she wouldn't be so alone anymore. Yes, that was the plan to befriend them, but of course she messes it up and manages to catch feelings, like an idiot.
