At this point Maya didn't know how she feels. She started to gain feelings for Stiles quickly then she could ever imagine.
Her feelings weren't that strong when she was with her ex boyfriend, Jacob. But with Stiles it was different. She felt weird around him, her stomach becomes full of butterflies when she's around him. He smiles when she sees him.
She didn't know if she wanted to get the over with or want to continue having those feelings. Stiles, is funny, sarcastic, smart, has a good sense of humor. Maya and him are literally the same. Make jokes, comment funny jokes to others.
Maya, was thankful that Stiles was the one to save her from the bear trap or else she wouldn't have become closer to him. She wouldn't meet the people she knows now. Maya wasn't the type of girl who became friends with others easily. She may had a boyfriend and friends.
That was all because of Jacob's popularity and if she never dated him, no one would become friends with her. Maya, used to be a quiet girl focused on school more.
But after she began to date Jacob. She hung out with the popular kids and she began to show her true self. Funny, sarcastic, great sense of humor and attitude along the lines of those. But she is a great person to be friends with.
She's a talker. Literally.
She has no filter she'll say what she'll say and wouldn't even care what others think. She's Maya Hale for gods sakes.
Maya was currently on her bed reading some romance book she's been obsessed with. Not everything is super natural. Maya slightly jumped on the sound of a knock on her door.
"Geez Louis." Maya said placing her hand against her chest.
"A little heads up." She said rolling her eyes and returning back to reading. It was close to midnight.
"I'm heading out. I have to do something important." Derek said to her making her wave her hand to make him go away.
"Get to bed. You have school tomorrow." Derek said making Maya put her books down and looked at her cousin annoyed.
"Okay I will." She said to him.
"But do not." She said to Derek who was standing by the door.
