After Raymond noticed the merchant, he immediately dropped his sack and swung his left hand to create a mana sword.

The merchant sneered upon noticing Raymond walking towards him.

"come over here asaeryan puppet," the merchant said, taunting him.

Raymond  merely shrugged and remained silent and kept his gazed locked to the merchant.

While Raymond gazed at the merchant, he felt an eerie sensation from the dark and  silent ambience around.

Then suddenly, the merchant leaped towards him to swung his sword right to his throat. Raymond merely evaded it and they started slashing and deflecting attacks to each other.

As the fight continued,Raymond took a hard time finding an opening to the merchant because he kept barraging him with his mana sword in multiple direction.

The merchant sneered and laughed maniacally as he see Raymond suffering from evading and deflecting all of his attack.

Then suddenly, the merchant is been hit by a mana blast to his back.

Raymond looked at the side and glanced a group of armed men and woman wearing the same uniform as the armed men he see before.

But To all of them, one armed men catched Raymond's attention,"that's the guy that saved me!",Raymond thought  as he remembered the armed men who saved him from the crazy merchant.

The armed men whom Raymond recognized fretted,"the valkan knights of the city are here to kill you bastard!".

The merchant get distracted upon hearing it, making himself vulnerable.

Raymond take the chance and  immediately pierced his chest and smirked.

the merchant looked at Raymond while laughing in pain. Raymond trembled in fear and quickly removed his mana sword to his chest and stepped backward.

The merchant snickered  and said with enthusiasm, "DO YOU THINK I COULD BE KILLED IN A HUMAN WAY? HAHAHAHAHA".

Upon hearing it,All the valkan knights hold their swords in an offensive stance.

The merchant sneered at them and mocked them,"you humans are foolish! Hahahahaha".

Then the merchant make his mana sword taller, meanwhile all the Valkan knights stayed on their position while observing the merchant.

Meanwhile, Raymond and the valkan knights unexpectedly witnessed the merchant transformed into a hard as a rock charcoaled skin humanoid beast with two horns and molten gold eyes.

With its shark like teeth gritted as it looked to all of  them like a hungry lion looking at it's prey.

With its unrecognizable form,all The valkan knights immediately charged towards the humanoid beast and attack it on an orchestrated way.

Its  like a dance of glowing figures as they activated their different mana color of yellow,orange and red and encircled the beast while they sway swiftly their bodies evading all of  its attacks, making a clean cut to different part of its body using their mana infused swords thus  creating a beautiful but deadly fighting performance.

"we are making a great progress team!", The man with blue eyes praised his comrades.

Raymond observed their fight and have second thoughts of joining the fight because he have a gut feeling that the beast is planning about something.

While fighting, most of the valkan knights becomes prideful and went very close while fighting the humanoid beast.

As the fight continued, suddenly the beast grinned and  enlarged its two mana sword to a size of a long metal pole and chopped into half almost all the valkan knights  including the one Raymond remembered.
