Fun in the sun

A/N: So this might become a series of one-shots, or even a fully-fledged story of Hiccup and Astrid hooking up with other lovers and maybe even taking a third in their relationship, possibly Valka or someone else. Either way, it depends on how well this goes. This is a modern story where Hiccup and Astrid have graduated college and they go to Dragon's Edge for their first week of summer, there they meet up with Heather and Camicazi, and after having some fun in the sun, they take that fun to a whole new level. So yes, this is a foursome between Hiccup/Astrid/Heather/Camicazi. Anyway, here we go.

"Oh, my Thor! I can't believe we're finally here, babe!"

"Well, seeing as though you've been begging me to take you to Dragon's Edge for our first week of summer vacation, it was only a matter of time, Milady."

"And I love you for it!"

Hiccup Haddock III and Astrid Hofferson had just graduated from Berk University last weekend and now that they were ready to pursue their careers as a sports instructor and digital artist, they were more than ready for a well-earned week long vacation at Dragon's Edge, a paradise getaway in Scandinavia. It was pricy to stay here, but money wasn't much of an issue as far as Hiccup was concerned, his family was rich. Their family hailed from their Vikings, and they had stashed a sizeable war chest of wealth, and with his father, Stoick the Vast as CEO of a corporate empire in New Berk, the Haddock family had only seen that wealth grow even larger. One day, Haddock Corporations would be in Hiccup's hands, but the heir to the company was in no rush to take his father's place as CEO.

Right now, all Hiccup wanted to do was explore the Edge and spend time with his goddess of a girlfriend. Gods, Astrid was a remarkable woman. They had been best friends since childhood, and around middle school, they began dating, and have been together ever since. During that time, however, Astrid had confessed to her boyfriend that she was attracted to women as well as men. Truthfully this revelation came as a surprise to Hiccup, his girlfriend had never expressed attraction towards women when they were still dating in middle school, but her confession had been made during their high school years, and although Hiccup and Astrid were dating, Hiccup had given his girlfriend the freedom to explore her sexuality and to see whether or not she preferred men or women. Astrid satisfied her curiosity about women during a party thrown by one of their good friends, and at times, energetic and eager lover, Heather. And after a night of sleeping with the beautiful raven-haired beauty, Astrid returned to her boyfriend and told her that she still loved him, but was open to the possibility of having another woman in their relationship, so long as he was comfortable with it.

To be in an open relationship was a topic that got many excited while others, mainly older people set in their ways frowned, and even condemned the very notion of a polyamorous relationship. Hiccup's father, Stoick, however, was very encouraging. After all, they hailed from Vikings, and back then, a Viking ruler would often take several lovers or even marry more than one person. Stoick saw Astrid as his future daughter-in-law already, and he was eager to become a grandfather. Hiccup was glad that his father approved of his relationship with Astrid, with his mother absent from his life, Stoick, and his godfather, Gerald, or Gobber as he preferred, were his two biggest pillars of support.

Returning his attention to the present, Hiccup and Astrid walked hand in hand as they made their way to the Edge's resort lobby. The only way to reach Dragon's Edge was via plane or ship, the young couple took the latter. And after a relaxing sail, Hiccup and Astrid were ready to have some fun in the sun.

"Hiccup? Astrid?"

Turning around, the couple were taken by surprise when they laid eyes on both Heather and Camicazi.

"Fancy meeting you two lovebirds here!"

Hiccup let out a muffled laugh when Camicazi all but leaped up at him, wrapping her arms and legs around him in a fierce hug. Similar gestures were exchanged between Astrid and Heather before the four broke apart.
