Hyun

Hyun is Soo-won's best friend. They've been best friends since childhood, even before Yona was even born. Hyun has long dark purple hair, light purple eyes, and is shorter than Soo-won. Hyun is now Soo-won's bodyguard and is responsible for Soo-won's health and safety. She made a promise to Soo-won's mother, Lady Yong-Hi, that she'll protect Soo-won with all of her heart, after Soo-won's mother passes away.

Soo-won

Soo-Won is a tall young man with soft, delicate features. he takes after his mother Yong-Hi, while his height takes after his father, Yu-Hon. He has sea green-blue eyes and white skin. His dark blond hair extends slightly past his shoulders and is usually tied into a side ponytail using a gold ornament. His bangs are parted down the centre, and some strands are longer and wavier than the normal cut.

Yona

Yona is considered a very beautiful girl for her age, often called pretty and cute. She is a slender girl of short stature with fair skin. She has closely resembles her mother Kashi having the same large, round violet eyes and facial features, however unlike her, Yona was born with wavy red hair, which she hated very much, as red hair was rare and made her stand out from others. Later on it is revealed that she has red hair, not because of any genetic inheritance (both of her parents have black hair), but because she is the reincarnation of King Hiryuu.

Hak

Hak is described as a tall, tough-bodied, and attractive young man with sharp blue eyes and broad shoulders. He has short messy black hair with bangs hanging below his eyes. He has a well-built frame cultivated from years of training, which tends to make him quite popular with girls. He wears a sleeveless blue overcoat seamed with bluish-black hemlines over a royal blue robe with black collar and sash. He ties black ribbons in a crisscross pattern over the lower half of his sleeves to prevent them from getting in the way when he is fighting. Underneath his robe, he wears black pants and a pair of dark brown boots overlaid with more crisscross-patterned ribbons. Occasionally, he can be seen wearing a sled hat when he is hiding his identity.

Emperor Il

He is the father of Yona, the second-born son of Emperor Joo-Nam and the younger brother of Yu-Hon. A chubby man who has a gentle appearance. He has a pair of black eyes and short black hair covered by a black headgear with a red and yellow design pattern, and two extending cords that have yellow tassels hanging on each of them. He also has a short black mustache.
